This programme is aimed at upgrading the theoretical and operational skills of current Electrical

Chargeman AO and A1. It is specially developed to prepare participants to sit for the ChargemanA4/A4-1/A4-2 examination conducted by the Energy Commission.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

This programme is targeted at currently employed

Electrical Chargeman AO and A1 Certificate holdersin an organisation where live electrical work is in

operation.

Candidate who wishes to sit for the

examination conducted by the EnergyCommission must meet the following

requirement:

Electrical Chargeman A4-2

Possesses AO certificate 1 year working experience in handling

generator set (without synchronizing

panel)Electrical Chargeman A4-1

All requirement as per Chargeman A4-2 Additional 1 year experience in overhead

linesElectrical Chargeman A4

Possesses AO certificate 1 year working experience in handling

generator set (with synchronizing) and 1

year experience in overhead linesor

Possesses A1 certificate 1 year working experience in handling

generator set (with synchronising)

A Certificate of Attendance would be awarded toparticipants who have fulfilled the 80% attendance

course requirement.

Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Chargeman

A4, A4-1 or A4-2 will be issued by the EnergyCommission Examination Board to participants who

pass the examination conducted by the board.

COURSE STRUCTURE

FMM CERTIFICATE IN ELECTRICAL CHARGEMANA4

Completed registration form, faxed, mailed or e-mailed to FMM Institute would be deemed as confirmed.

There will be no refund or cancellation within 0-5 days prior to the programme, 50% refund for cancellation between

6-9 days and full refund for cancellation 10 days prior to the programme. However, replacement can be accepted at

no additional cost.

The FMM Institute reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule the above programme and all efforts will be taken to
