The exhibition delves into the world of your favourite candy food and brings you the opportunity probe its history. From basics like how it is produced and how it gets from the tree to your favourite chocolate indulgence. To keep up with the theme of the event, even the museum’s gate is decorated as a chocolate. You get to learn facts through the various zones, like how it journeys from a seed to a sweet!

Suuppa Pop is an exhibition of Desgrippes Gobé’s collection of packaging from Japan. “Suupaa Pop!” presented a collection of unique designs, unexpected use of materials, innovative products, beautiful aesthetics and inspiring surprises.

Prong Paper fastners are for or use in file folders and documents that need to be modified or added to frequently. It is a very simple and quick binding method

Elastic bands can be used as binding method by placing the band in the spine of a publication set out in saddle stitch format.

Japanese binding is a very decorative and time consuming method of binding. The publication is stitched together using a thin double silk cord. The knot is tied and concealed in the spine.

Spiral binding is a very quick method of binding. It uses a machine called a comb binder which punches the wholes into the publication and opens the comb to allow you to add the pages.

Cereal boxes are printed using the printing process known as Flexogrphy. Flexography is essentially a modern version of letterpress which can be used for printing on almost any type of substrate. Like flexo ,screen printing uses layers to build up an image and could be used as an alternative for short runs.

Above are two examples of how screen printing can be used to do limited packaging runs. Screen printing however is a lengthy process compared to other printing processes.

Although digital printing is more expensive than offset printing and flexography, it saves time and effort creating plates. Like screen printing,digital printing is usually used for short run projects.

Digital printing is printing using inkjet or laser printers. Digital Printing uses CMYK colours to print. Because printing plates are not needed digital printing is good for on demand printing.

Special K is a lightly toasted breakfast cereal manufactured by the Kellogg Company. It is made primarily from rice and wheat.It is marketed primarily as a low-fat cereal that can be eaten to help one lose weight.

Corn flakes are a popular breakfast cereal originally manufactured by Kellogg’s through the treatment of maize. Cornflakes was the first ever breakfast cereal and was invented by the Kellog Brothers

Kellogg’s Frosties is produed by the Kellogg Company and consists of sugar-coated corn flakes.Tony the Tiger has been the mascot of Frosties since itsintroduction. Tony is known for the cereal’s slogan: “They’re Gr-r-reat!”

Crunchy Nut is a breakfast cereal made by Kellogg’s, made with flakes of corn, a small amount of honey, three types of sugar, and chopped peanuts. The cereal was first introduced to the UK and Ireland around 1980.

Rice Krispies are made by expand forming the crisped rice’s very thin and hollowed out walls that are crunchy and crisp. When the cereal is subjected to a change in heat, the walls tend to collapse, creating the famous “Snap, crackle and pop” sounds.

Coco pops are produced by Kellogg’s. It is a coco-flavored version of Rice Krispies. Con-taining a substance imitating milk chocolate, the cereal can quickly turn milk “choco-latey.” They were introduced in 1964 and Coco the Monkey is their mascot.

Shreddies is a breakfast cereal produced from shredded wheat, made from lattices of wholegrain wheat.Shreddies has been made in the UK since 1953. The cereal is marketed with the whole grain symbolsising the healthiness of the cereal.

Shredded wheat is a breakfast cereal made from whole wheat. It was introduced to the UK in 1926 and it produced by Nestle.

Alpen is a line of muesli varieties manufactured by the Weetabix cereal company. Alpen is a simple, whole grain muesli cereal based on rolled oats, fruits and nuts with no preservatives or artificial flavours or colours.
