Assignment
Using Clay you will design a teapot that is unusual and whimsical.
Project Requirements.
Implement planning
Create 4 thumbnail sketches of ideas for your teapot. Chose one, and do a larger sketch with as much detail as possible. Color this sketch to determine where you will
add the color.
Teapot must function as a real teapot, which means it must include a lid, handle and spout.
Creation
Using both the subtractive and addictive methods you will create your teapot.Start with a ball of clay and using the additive method sculpt the image of your teapot.
After the teapot has been designed and molded you will slice your teapot in half and scoop out the insides, so that you have no more than a ¼ inch thickness in the sides.
This is considered the subtractive method.
