CEOS Publications & OutreachII. CEOS Brochure: ■ MEXT/JAXA has published and updated multiple Brochures for CEOS and IGOS

over the years. ■ The CEOS brochure has been updated periodically, and reflected current activities of CEOS. The latest one was produced by JAXA in October 2008.

　　　 - 7,000 copies were printed. - Allocated to the CEOS SEC Agencies for further distribution. - Distributed to the CEOS subscribers, enclosed with the 32nd CEOS Newsletter in February 2009. - The brochure was also distributed at the CEOS related meetings as well as COP -14 in Bucharest.

III. Outreach: ■ At the GEO-VI Plenary in mid-November in Washington DC, CEOS plans to distribute copies of the Newsletter and 2008 Brochure for CEOS outreach. 　　　

JAXA will continue its involvement in future CEOS publications and outreach activities as of its contribution to the CEOS Secretariat as we’ve done to date.

CEOS Publications & Outreach

■ Japan’s Next Publication: JAXA plans to publish the 34th issue of the CEOS Newsletter in Feb. 2010. ■ The contributors/SEC agencies are kindly requested to prepare inputs and provide JAXA with articles by Friday, 18 December 2009.

CEOS High Profile Publication

• It is important for CEOS to be able to demonstrate its achievements at high profile events.

• A publication should be produced targeted towards forums like GEO Plenary and Ministerial and other key events at which CEOS is represented.

• Emphasis will not only on accomplishments but impact and expected outcomes, and underscoring the value of CEOS activities.

CEOS High Profile Publication

• High Profile Publication task team (propose)- GISTDA -TT Lead- CEOS Chair(INPE), SIT Chair(JAXA), NOAA, NASA, CDTI,

ESA, CEO, and SEO- Deliverable Leads- All are invited, if interest

• The support of all CEOS agencies are necessary to ensure a professional and effective publication.
