Current EventsFord Posts an Unexpected Profit of $997

Million

Everyone was surprised when ford posted an unexpected $997 million as their third-quarter profit. This is said to be the

first profitable quarter in North America in more than four years. All though this is an improvement, Ford did not indicate whether a fourth quarter or full year profit is

expected. They have not posted an out look for 2010 because of the recent economic uncertainty.Ford was greatly helped

by the governments cash-for-clunkers program. Unfortunately, despite improvements Ford remains heavily in

debt.

CEO/ Business Executive

This project has made me realize that CEO is the perfect job for me.

I love business and economics in general.

I haven’t Decided what exact kind of company I would like to run, but I know I want to run one.

I think that all the hard work and long hours would all be worth it in the end.
