It is a well known fact that almost 79% of all Indian MBA graduates are not industry ready. Companies like yours need to spend lakhs in training MBA freshers to get them to perform up to your expectations. Centre For Management was established to fill this lacuna. We are a B-School built by Industry for Industry. As you will see in the pages that follow, we will provide you with profiles of candidates who are ‘Performers, Not Just MBAs’.

We create these performers by incorporating industry best practices within our curriculum and pedagogy. Some innovations for our students include industry interaction sessions every week, training to build up their attitudes & skills along with their domain knowledge, assessments through assignments and industry oriented projects instead of memory based exams. Along with this, we measure all our students on a unique Corporate Readiness Score ( CRS ), which indicates their strengths and weaknesses to take on specific job roles, which we share with you. This allows you to select the 'right candidate for the right job'.

We would like to invite you to visit our campus to see how a CFM graduate can be the perfect candidate for your recruitment needs.

Warm Regards,

CFM Placement Team

Centre For Management is the most industry focused Business School in India and has won the DNA Innovative B-School Award for Industry Academic Interface, due to innovations like:

1. Industry Guest Sessions: Almost every week, we invite a senior industry leader to interact with our students. Last year, our students were exposed to almost 50 such sessions.

2. Industry Visits: Every semester, our students visit companies to get an indepth understanding of how they operate. Past visits have included companies like Coca Cola Ltd., Reliance Industries, Mahindra & Mahindra, Anand Rathi Securities, Jacky’s Electronics (Dubai), Emirates Airlines and Dubai International Financial Centre.

3. International Industry Tour: In the third semester, we take our students on an international tour to Dubai or Singapore which allows them to get a first hand understanding of how multinational companies operate in different market environments.

4. Corporate Mentoring: Every semester, each student is matched with an industry mentor to conduct a corporate project under their guidance. This gives them hands on experience working with various companies throughout their course.

5. Industry Partnerships: CFM has partnered with industry associations like Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Indian Angel Network (IAN), National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) and others to give our students exposure to industry via workshops, conferences and other activities.

6. Summer Internship Project (SIP): After the second semester, student undergoes 3 months internship with top companies in India. III. Innovative Teaching:CFM creates a corporate style educational environment for our students, who are treated like junior executives with all the responsibilities and targets that entails. All teaching is done by faculty with many years of real industry work experience.

Our pedagogy revolves around all round personality development and is represented by the acronym ‘T.A.S.K' (Talent, Attitude, Skills, Knowledge).

1. Talent: Every student has unique strengths and weaknesses. CFM uses psychometric testing (MBTI profiles) and individual career counseling to match them to the sort of career path they will excel in. This individual career matching ensures that they do not waste time stuck in the wrong job & are more likely to achieve early success.

2. Attitude: Companies look for employees who are self-starting leaders with a professional attitude. CFM gets our students involved in many extracurricular activities like industry facing committees, career acceleration programs, live company projects etc. geared at building leadership skills

3. Skills: Written/oral communication skills & problem solving skills are the most valued skills for potential recruiters. They develop the above through involvement in class presentations, SIP, industry projects etc. We also have unique methodologies like problem based learning, storytelling, higher order skills development and others to give them the sort of capabilities needed to succeed in the corporate world.

4. Knowledge: Corporates value employees who have deep knowledge of their chosen field along with an awareness of current affairs in the business world. CFM imparts the latest knowledge derived from global industry in a practical interactive manner in its curriculum. They also get involved in classroom exercises, which depend on them researching and updating themselves on current business events.

Corporate Readiness Score ( CRS )We evaluate the capabilities of our students using CRS, which measures them along the five parameters most desired by recruiters:

1.English Communication Skills

2.Professionalism

3.Leadership

4.Problem Solving

5.Domain Knowledge

Each student's CRS is shared with potential recruiters, which enables them to identify the right candidate to fill their job vacancy.

IV. Individual Attention:We are against the factory approach of other business schools. We recognize that each student is unique with skills and ambition, which are different from their classmates. Someone who is a good accountant is likely to perform badly as a salesperson and vice versa. We identify each student's unique strengths and weaknesses via psychometric testing. We then give individual counseling to each student to help them identify the ideal career path they need to take based on their personality and ambitions. This process ensures that students get into jobs they will excel at and are more likely to stay in.

CRS Indicators :DK : Domain Knowledge CS : Communication Skills P : Professionalism PS : Problem Solving S/L : Self Starter / Leadership

CRS keyEach of the five components of the Corporate Readiness Score are marked out of 10. These are then added for total CRS marks out of 50. The students score in each component shows his or her strength in that area. For eg. One student may be strong in Communication Skills and another may be strong in Problem Solving. Combine this score with the psychometric profile (MBTI) of each student, and you get a truly qualitative picture of each student's strengths and weaknesses. This will help you better match the right student for the right job.
