Located in Manchester, UK it is the national lead in bringing Chinese contemporary art and visual culture to the UK. For over 30 years CFCCA has been part of Manchester’s rich cultural scene programming, showcasing and supporting artists from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the diaspora through exhibitions, events and a year round residency programme. CFCCA’s Archive and Library documents it’s rich 30 year history through archival materials. It is now open to the public following a project to catalogue, digitise and share material online supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund. This resource is a comprehensive record of our unique contribution to the progression of Chinese contemporary art and artists since 1986. CFCCA is a unique art gallery. Located in Manchester,
