Central Florida Transportation Task Force An assemblage of regional business leaders who work to identify and advance the most influential shortlist of regional transportation projects and strategies that will distinguish Central Florida in the global economy.
Central Florida Sources of Capital Task Force Experts and entrepreneurs who drive the region’s capital attraction efforts by defining what makes Central Florida a destination for capital, understanding the facts and myths of access to capital, and developing a plan that positions Central Florida as a center for investment.
Florida’s Super Region Advisory Committee A compact, standing committee that ensures all projects are reviewed through a super-regional filter for capacity, leverage and learning while nurturing shared assets and infrastructure.

Central Florida Talent Pipeline Task Force A regional coalition of civic leaders and subject matter experts who lead the effort to nurture the talent we have, attract the talent we need and build a credible reputation as a nucleus for highly skilled, trained and motivated professionals.
Central Florida International Business Task Force A group of entrepreneurs and experts whose focus is to help Central Florida businesses grow and create jobs by diversifying into new, international markets.
Central Florida Young Professionals Advisory Council Representatives from Investor companies (ages 21–32) who meet bimonthly to become more competitive in the business arena, establish contacts, provide thoughtful input and grow personally through a variety of regional program topics.
CEO Direct A quarterly meeting that brings together C-suite and senior executives of local, national and global companies to build and strengthen relationships with Central Florida thought leaders and each other.
Subject Matter Experts for Central Florida Leadership Forums Key individuals, from across all sectors, who share their expertise in specific areas of focus related to the quarterly forums.
Subject Matter Experts for Leadership Orlando Acknowledged regional leaders, who provide participants in the program with intimate, powerful opportunities to observe, interact and learn about key community assets in, and important issues affecting, Central Florida.

POWEREDPOWEREDCentral Florida Leadership ForumsThese quarterly meetings give focus to important issues facing Central Florida. With leader-driven curriculum and access to experts in a variety of areas, attendees gain a comprehensive perspective of the priorities that need attention in order for our region to flourish.
Regional Fellowship LuncheonsThese are invitation-only luncheons that are held bimonthly at the Citrus Club. Limited in size, these small, intimate luncheons afford Investors and community leaders the opportunity to connect and build relationships while discussing topics of regional interest.
Regional Gatherings
Regional EventsAnnual Investor Update & Reception An upscale event that features the Partnership’s accomplishments for the past year, a look at upcoming priorities and objectives, installation of the chair of the Board of Directors and more.
Community Events for LearningEvents that bring together various groups that might not otherwise convene – typically around a topic of shared interest with a regional impact.
Regional GroupsCentral Florida Congress of Regional Leaders This group includes selected county commissioners, city officials and members of the Central Florida School Boards Coalition who represent our seven-county region and are dedicated to developing regional policies. The Congress convenes bimonthly, and Investors are welcome to attend and listen to their dialogue as well as network before and after.
Central Florida Legislative Delegation Members of the Florida Senate and Florida House of Representatives from the seven-county region that the Partnership serves comprise this group. Once a year, Investors can see this body gather to discuss regional issues of importance and learn how potential legislation can impact Central Florida.
Leadership OrlandoAn eight-month program that recruits, cultivates and encourages established and emerging leaders from across seven counties to better serve Central Florida. Participants explore regional assets, gain insight into the hottest topics from acknowledged experts and connect with other like-minded professionals.
Regional TripsBakerHostetler Central Florida Partnership Trip to Washington, D.C. A two-day visit held in the spring that focuses on a specific regional topic with teams fanning out to meet in small groups with our congressional delegation.
Central Florida Partnership Trip to TallahasseeA two-day visit during the legislative session that allows participants to visit and hear from legislators from across the state as well as work with regional officials to advance issues crucial to Central Florida.
Community Trips for Learning These trips allow Central Florida community leaders the opportunity to travel together and learn firsthand how other communities successfully implement specific initiatives and address similar challenges that we face as a region.

Key Accomplishments
Project Hometown resulted in an unprecedented commitment to make multiple cultural, educational, and entertainment venues a reality for the people who call Central Florida “home.”
America’s best data-driven growth compact – “How Shall We Grow?” – has been adopted and utilized by 86 cities across seven county jurisdictions.
Vote No on Amendment 4 signaled our community’s ability to evaluate and defeat the most business- and jobs-oppressive initiative in decades.
Open for Business, an initiative of seamless permitting and customer service, is reaching into ever more jurisdictions.
When a county in our region was made a test bed for confusing and anti-business initiatives, voices and research were mobilized and the paid sick leave petition was defeated.
Florida’s Strategic Plan for Economic Development relies on the best practices and sustainable growth output of myregion.org.
The Partnership is the managing partner for our Region’s Values Study.
America’s pilot program for a direct-elected chair of a major-scale school board became a reality in Orange County.
SunRail, the long-anticipated commuter rail line, is now a reality with the first phase opened on May 1, 2014 – connecting 12 stations through 3 counties and giving commuters a new option for mobility in our region.
In partnership with the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness, the Partnership led a community-wide, public-private initiative resulting in commitments of $25 million to support best practice solutions for chronic homelessness, such as permanent supportive housing for those living on the streets due to mental or physical disability.
