Firstly, thank you for your interest in what promises to be an exceptional event for the Central Coast. The following information will provide you with everything you need to know about the event and importantly, how to secure your place for 2011.

The Central Coast Home Expo is a unique event for our region showcasing both local and regional businesses within the housing industry for the benefit of both business and the local community alike. The aims are to;

An event of this calibre and type is indeed long overdue and a first for the region. As such it will attract thousands of visitors from all over the Central Coast and beyond. Located at the Central Coast Grammar School on the Central Coast Hwy at Erina Heights, the facility provides 2,000sqm of exhibition space, an outdoor display area and plenty of parking. The venue is also extremely accessible and has a high visibility position.

To that end the Central Coast Home Expo will be advertised extensively through NBN Television, radio 2GO and the Central Coast Express Advocate. The dollar value is estimated to be in the realm of $40,000. In addition, flyers, posters and banners will all be displayed prominently in the lead up and an expo magazine listing your business will be available on the day. Everyone loves their home. That’s a feeling common to us all and we love to improve and tinker with it; especially in the Spring! The Central Coast Home Expo is to be held the weekend before the change to Spring for maximum effect, which heightens the impulse to making buying decisions. Coincidentally it is also the weekend before Fathers’ Day.

IT’s GOOD TO GIVE BAcK

In addition, the Central Coast Home Expo proudly welcomes Coast Shelter as its charity partner for 2011 and will provide financial support to enable them to continue their work in providing accommodation for those in need and at risk. As a community support initiative it’s hard to think of a better way and a better charity to which we could contribute.

ON THE DAY

There are approximately 320,000 people on the Central Coast and while all arewelcome, the target demographic is the middle to high income earner between the age of 30 and 60. The event will cater to families; with children’s entertainment provided to ensure a great time is had by all while mums and dads are busy getting the business done inside the exhibition hall with you. Parking attendants will ensure smooth entry and exit to the facilities and there will be plenty of food available on-site.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK

Fundamentally, all businesses share the same challenges and so, to celebrate your efforts to that point and the impending success of the dayfollowing, an opportunity will be made available to exhibitors and sponsors alike to enjoy each others’ company at a catered networking evening held the night before in the CCGS library.

EXHIBITOR INFORmATION 

EXPO TImEsThe expo will be held on Sunday 28th of August from 10am – 4pm. Admission to this event is free to the general public.

sET UP AND PUll DOWN TImEsAccess to set up your site is available from 12pm – 10pm on Saturday 27th August and from 7am on Sunday 28th August. All display material must be removed from the site by 11pm on Sunday 28th August.

sITE REqUIREmENTsPower is available at an extra cost to internal sites (see booking form for details). Phone, internet and water are not available to sites at the expo. Catering is available at the event. No food or drink may be sold from your exhibition site.

REsTRIcTIONsStrictly no alcohol is to be brought onto, sold or consumed on the Central Coast Grammar School grounds. No smoking is permitted and no dangerous goods are to be brought onto the school grounds.

BOOKING YOUR sITEBookings will be limited to four (4) per category at the discretion of CCHE. Secure your site byreturning your booking form, a copy of your public liability insurance, signed terms and conditions form and payment. These can be returned via email to [email protected] or by post to PO Box 233 Avoca Beach NsW 2251.

Cancellations: 50% of the site cost fee is refunded if written notification is received by July 20th 2011. No refunds will be available for cancellations after this date.

PUBlIc lIABIlITY INsURANcE AND sEcURITYAll exhibitors are required by law to have a minimum of $10 million public liability insurance cover valid from 26th August 2011 to 29th August 2011. This insurance refers to theft, fire and any damage or injury caused to visitors to your exhibition site. The event co-ordinator is not responsible for theft or damage in regards to any stock, display material, business or personal goods you display at the home expo.

DEFINITIONsIn this agreement:The Organiser refers to Central Coast Home Expo, its servants and its agents.The Exhibitor refers to the Company, person or persons specified on the event agreement, their servants, agents and permitted assignees.The Premises refers to the expo venue (Central Coast Grammar School) The Site refers to that portion of the Premises occupied by the Exhibitor for the duration of the event.

cONDITIONsThe Exhibitor acknowledges and agrees with the Organiser:

1. Entry, use of and attendance upon the premises shall be entirely at the Exhibitor’s risk. The Organiser reserves the right at any time and at its sole discretion to refuse any Exhibitor or person admission to the Premises without assigning any reason for its decision. The Organiser shall in such circumstances not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Exhibitor as a result of the Exhibitor being refused admission.

2. The Exhibitor agrees with the Organiser to take and occupy the space specified on the Exhibitor Event Agreement.3. The Exhibitor agrees that none of the rights and benefits granted to it hereunder shall be capable of assignment and that it will

not without the written consent of the Organiser first allow another person or company to occupy any part of the space taken by the Exhibitor pursuant to this agreement.

4. The Exhibitor will pay to the Organiser the total amount in the manner set out in the event agreement.5. The Exhibitor indemnifies and will keep indemnified and holds harmless the Organiser from and against all actions, suits,

proceedings, claims, demands, costs, losses, damages and expenses whatsoever of nature and howsoever occurring (and whether arising from the negligence of the Exhibitor or any employee, servant or agent of the Exhibitor) brought against or made upon the Organiser by any other person or entity or which the Exhibitor may pay, suffer or sustain arising directly or indirectly from the entry to the use of or the attendance upon the Premises by the Exhibitor for the purpose of exhibiting its products.

6. The Exhibitor hereby releases and discharges the Organiser from any such actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands, costs, losses, damages and expenses which but for provisions hereof might be brought against or made upon the Organiser.

7. The Exhibitor agrees that no claim or proceeding whatsoever will be instituted or permitted to be instituted by the Exhibitor against the Organiser.

8. The Organiser shall have the power to remove from any part of the Premises any material which is considered to cause offense to the public.

9. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the event agreement and retain part or all of the monies paid if, in the opinion of the Organiser, the Exhibitor infringes the conditions of the agreement.

10. The Exhibitor agrees that the serving of food and drinks from their site is disallowed.11. Exhibitors must remove all display materials by the time stated in the Exhibitor Brochure.12. The demonstration of machinery and equipment must be done at the time and in the areas specified by the Organiser.13. Site sharing is not permitted at any time.14. The Exhibitor must comply with all current Workplace Health and Safety standards and must comply with all laws covering the

erection of structures, the display of/ or sale of machinery, vehicles or other goods.15. The Exhibitor must take out Public Liability Insurance with a limit of liability of no less than $10 million and be able to show

proof of such insurance cover to the Organiser before occupying a site.16. Exhibitors must have permission of the Organiser before digging any holes or driving objects into the ground. Any damages done

to underground cables or pipes from such actions will be repaired at the expense of the Exhibitor.17. The Exhibitor shall not be entitled to any refund in the event of cancellation of the event because of industrial action or any

cause outside the control of the Organiser.18. The Exhibitor will be responsible for any damage to the Premises or to any display booths, partitions, electrical fittings, lights or

furnishings provided for the Exhibitor.19. Exhibitors will not be permitted to occupy their site unless they have fulfilled all payment conditions.20. Exhibitors shall comply with terms and conditions of the event Premises when and if they become available.
