Lanier Pontoon Boat QuestThis activity takes place on pontoon boats on beautiful Lake Lanier and provides an opportunity for fun on the water. Teams are equipped with a map with checkpoints for them to visit around the lake. The team that earns the most points wins. See Page 39 for Details.

fingerprintThe goal of fingerprint is to focus on the growth and positive change aspects of individuals and the team. This session can accommodate physicality and team development goals ranging from 1 (very low) to 10 (very high). See Page 31 for Details.

Cardboard Regatta Teams will be given supplies to design and construct a cardboard pool-worthy vessel. Once teams have completed their vessel and presented a team cheer, everyone will march to the pool, cheering all the way – ready to compete! See Page 22 for Details.

GOALTo enjoy a Minute-To-Win-It style competition among teams. To laugh with (and maybe at) each other as the competition moves from serious fun to even more serious fun!

FOCUSCamaraderie, shared experience, team bonding, fun, and relationships.

OVERVIEWTeams will participate in 60-second challenges of various types of activity. Some are more physical, some are more mental but they are all fun and memorable! Teams are competing against each other and against the clock. This is a fun, active, team-bonding event that all groups can enjoy. Many of the 60-second challenges use objects that are commonly available around the house, thus making some of the challenges even feel familiar.

GOALGoal is to transport a team member through a designated course using a wooden A-frame, while retrieving objects along the route.

FOCUSProblem solving, trust building, teamwork and effective communication.

OVERVIEWTeams will be provided A-frame(s), ropes, course overview, and overall team objective. The support team is not allowed to touch the A-frame and the person being transported is not allowed to touch the ground. Once the team has decided on a plan the challenge begins! Teams are often problem solving and making adjustments throughout the activity.

OVERVIEWThis session starts with large group activities encouraging 100% participation. Participants will discover truths and facts about hunger in the local Hall County area, as well as across the nation. After successful completion of various team building activities, the donated items will be awarded and will later be used to fill backpacks. All items will be donated to local families in need. GOALTo have a fun & memorable time playing and competing, on a white sandy beach in northeast GA! Cut loose and enjoy some off- the-beaten-path team relay games that will encourage everybody to participate and cheer along!

FOCUSTeamwork and recreation with a focus on fun interaction, willingness to get sandy and high energy participation from everyone.

OVERVIEWBeach Olympics consists of rounds of relay games and other team activities. All activities take place on white, sandy Paradise Beach. A lapdog, inc. facilitator will serve as master of ceremonies, moderating the event and explaining the rules to your group. Additional staff will facilitate each individual event and keep score so that all teams are held to the same standard and judgment. After each team has completed all the events, our staff will tally the scores and award Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to the top three finishing teams.

GOALThe team’s goal is to determine which two pieces are missing from the set by identifying their shape and color, while blindfolded.

FOCUSProblem solving, strategies and effective communication.

OVERVIEWParticipants are given one or more shapes from a set while blindfolded. As they sit in a circle blindfolded, they are challenged to work together to determine which two shapes are missing from the set. This is a great exercise focusing on verbal communication. Participants are not allowed to pass their shapes to others or touch other shapes in any way. The facilitator will share limited information. Be ready for a challenging and insightful session with great learning opportunities!

FOCUSAll that is required is teamwork, empathy, collaboration, selflessness, effective communication, problem solving and a willingness to make an impact. The bikes are very good quality retailing for over $600 and come with lifetime maintenance provided by a local bike shop.

OVERVIEWBuild-a-Bike Done Awesome Style is a great way to inspire and motivate your team to think about and care for others. Participants will be challenged socially and emotionally as they see the fruits of their labor throughout this initiative. A 5-minute impactful video about Eagle Ranch is a great addition to this session.

FOCUSCollaboration, teamwork, planning, listening and acting on ideas.

OVERVIEWGroups will have 1 hour to design and construct the most aesthetically pleasing and sturdy freestanding bridge possible, using only the resources provided by the facilitator. Groups will work in teams of 4-6 people. The creativity abounds and having groups present their bridge at the conclusion of this session makes this a great experience for all.

OVERVIEWEach group member holds the end of a string and lifts a ball while keeping it balanced on a small metal ring. The group’s objective is to walk a designated course without allowing the ball to fall off the ring. If the ball is dropped the activity is reset. Team members may be blindfolded or limited to non-verbal communication, significantly increasing the level of challenge.

OVERVIEWThis is a creative way to experience a guided discussion. Participants collaborate with different people in the group while sharing specific ideas and insights. Tables are covered with paper tablecloths and each group is provided markers and crayons for writing, doodling, and drawing. Groups are given key questions related to the focus of the meeting. A lapdog facilitator begins the session and guides the group through several rounds of discussions. After each round, everyone (except 1 person that volunteers to stay) will move to a different table. The tables will be cross-pollinated with many different ideas and insights. Concludes with a larger group wrap up.
