Centennial of Naval Aviation Forum

AIAA Centennial of Naval Aviation forum was held in conjunction with ATIO conference on Sep 21st & 22nd

The Virginia Beach Convention Center was an attractive location with easy access to all meeting rooms & exhibit halls

Easy to move from room to room during between sessions/papers as all the rooms were on two levels

Very large space outside meeting rooms for attendees to move between sessions and network

A small number of abstracts were received (<10) for the Structural Design, Analysis, Fatigue track which resulted in:

The organizing committee performing the abstract reviews (May-June)

The abstract review evolving into a manuscript solicitation due to the low number of quality submissions

A total of 5 conference papers and 7 oral presentations were accepted to the three structures sessions
