NEW & IMPROVEDSupa Mega Cassette
• Secure - cassette lid closes with a positive 'click' and is held in place with a robust catch mechanism• Robust - retains its strength after multiple openings
• Helps to hold cassette tightly into vice type clamps with the angle pulling the cassette into the clamp rather than pushing it away
Robust, Secure Closure
Left & Right Handed Design
Large Open Pore Area with a Hexagonal Design
Reversed Cassette Angle
90º
• The two tabs on either side of the lid allows the cassette to be easily opened by either a left or right handed user
• Improved processing - better reagent flow to maximise fluid exchange and improve turnaround times• Advanced embedding - moulds can be filled more easily, resulting in fewer air bubbles surrounding the specimen• Better sectioning quality - Hex design ensures greater adhesion of the paraffin block to the cassette, and eliminates the possibility of the embedded specimen being separated from the cassette when sectioning fibrous specimens

Also Available in our Supa Mega Cassette Range:
KEY BENEFITSHex pore design improves processing with a large open area that maximises fluid exchange
Enhanced sectioning quality through greater adhesion of the paraffin block to the cassette
Reduction in the time required for thetrimming of blocks and embedding of specimens
Reduced carry-over during tissue processing
Better specimen quality, reducing distortion with no curling or “pringle” effects
With an internal cavity a third of the depth of the conventional Supa Mega, CellPath’s Supa Mega Mother Ship and Supa Mega Slim provide an innovative solution for the processing and embedding of large tissue specimens. As recommended by the Royal College of Pathologists, these thinner cavity depths reduce specimen thickness, offering significant improvements in processing time whilst ensuring a distortion free, consistent, and high quality tissue processing.
They also offer significant time savings for end users, such as reducing the time required for the trimming of blocks and the embedding of specimens.
CellPath’s Supa Mega Mother Ship cassettes uses an innovative permanent docking bay for a standard tissue processing cassette* printed with a 2D bar code and/or test information. This enables the specimen to be entered onto a LIMS guaranteeing its accurate and reliable tracking.
