Cell MovementHow does a single-celled organism move around??
Single celled Eukaryotes have a nucleus, but are very simple. Since they are only made of one cell they need a way to move around.
Cilia and Flagella
Cilia=small, short hairs that surround
cells.Paramecium have these!
Flagellum=long, whip like tail attached the
membrane.Euglena have these!
CILIA FLAGELLUM
Pseudopodia
Pseudo=fake
Podia=foot
Pseudopodia= fake foot
Amoebas have these!
There bodies can ooze and form “fake feet” to help them move around.
