Iowa recently competed at the Marshalltown regionalFirst Lego League Robotic competition, and receivedrecognition for their efforts.

CClleeaarr LLaakkee’’ss LLeeggooss oonn FFiirree was recognized for its pro-ject receiving an honorable mention, coming in third outof 37 teams. They were recognized for their hands onlearning, having a working model and testing it withmultiple seniors. Winnebago Industries supplied thematerials for their working model of the Sofa Stander,arms that go in the middle of a couch to help a personget up. Team members are: Carson Williams, AndrewKallenbach, Lydia Futrell, Rachel Thornton, KennedyKallenbach, and Harrison Futrell. Coaches are Steve andAlice Futrell
