As we step into June, you will begin to notice that preparations are underway for our annual Vacation Bible School, June 21-25, from 9:00am - 12:30pm. This is an exciting time of year when both our church kids and neighborhood kids get a chance to interact with each other, and with the youth and adult volunteers from our church family. What an amazing opportunity we have, as church members, to spend time with these silly, energetic kids, and to share the love of Christ with them. Our VBS theme this year is the "High Seas Expedition." You have probably noticed our large nautical sails, and our large treasure chests located around the church building. And get ready, in the coming weeks, you will begin to see more areas around our church transform into a place where kids love to come! During the week of VBS, our kids will learn that God's Word is true, powerful, and life- changing. Each day, students will learn about God's love for them through music, storytelling, games, crafts, and yes, even snacks! The singing, laughter, and smiles will be so contagious, that we know you will want to be a part of this exciting week. If you would like to help make an impact on a child this summer, we would love to have you partner with us during the week of Vacation Bible School. We will need lots of support from loving adults and youth helpers to make this week both memorable, and life-changing for our kids this summer. Please check out our VBS displays located around the church. We cannot wait to see you on the High Seas Expedition!!
