GRADUATION 2018 Record-Herald4 Thursday, May 17, 2018
Dear Washington High School Class of 2018,
In the fall of 2014, you entered Wash-ington High School as freshmen with Mr. Wood serving as your principal while I served as your assistant principal. For the next two years, I was blessed to have had the opportunity to move into the role as your principal with Mr. Hemmelgarn serving as our assistant. Today, I am very proud to be a part of your final year of high school serving with Mr. Creamer as our assistant. Not only has the last four years brought about much change, but it seems to have all passed so quickly. I know your entire school career has passed quickly for you and your parents as well.
As I reflect on your class, many of the memories that you and your families share come to mind. These memories include events and accomplishments in the realms of athletic performances and championships, musical shows and concerts, art projects and awards, and academic successes and triumphs. How-ever, the most notable characteristic I will always appreciate about your class is
the number of positive relationships you built with your teachers, your class members, and the other students in the building. You are truly a fun group of
students that have provided all of us with countless enjoyable moments.
Many of you are pursuing post-sec-ondary education, some are headed for military service, and others are becoming contributing members of our commu-nity’s workforce. Whether you are doing one of these or something else, I trust that the work ethic you have developed, the interpersonal skills you have honed, and the content knowledge you have gained will serve you well.
As your final days of being students come to a close and your years of being Washington High School alumni begin, we hope that you will always cherish your days in Washington Court House City Schools. I encourage you to visit often and keep us posted on how your life is progressing. I wish you all the best and look forward to seeing the impact you will make on our world!
Sincerely,Tracy Rose

FAYeTTe chrisTiAn school grAduATes Dear Fayette Christian School Class of 2018,
As you come to the culmination of your high school years, and I finish my second year as principal, I realize just how many memories one can make in a short time.
We will miss you. However, I am excited about the future that God has for each of you, and for that reason, I can’t be too sad that you are graduating.
I am thankful for the student leadership you have displayed. You each have a servant’s heart. You have been actively involved in academics, sports, fine arts, and whatever other activities came your way. You have also been leaders in your churches and communities. You have well represented your families, your school, and most importantly, your Lord.
Your parents and other family
members, along with your teachers, are proud of who you are and what you are becoming by God’s grace.
As you leave the daily influence of Fayette Christian School, I would like to echo to you the Apostle Paul’s admonition to his spiritual son Timothy, “But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
May God’s richest blessings abound to each of you.
