AIESEC in Ahmedabad is one of the oldest LCs of India, existing

since 32 years. Started in India’s Best Business school, AIESEC In

Ahmedabad soon grew into the city. AIESEC was always associated with

some of the most prestigious colleges in the city. In the past years

AIESEC became a part of the city and built a strong community of

Alumni. With bringing various awards back home, AIESEC in

Ahmedabad produced one President AIESEC International, and 13

Member Committee Vice Presidents. With Ahmedabad being at the

Epitome of growth, AIESEC joined in the stride growing like never before.

With the identity of just being a dry state, Ahmedabad taught not only the

AIESEC network but all of its stakeholders a way of “Majja ni Life” which

literally translates to a “Celebration of Life”. Majja ni Life from a motto

soon turned into a way of life, and the way AIESEC in Ahmedabad

wanted each of its experience lived, whether a Team Member

Experience or a Intern who arrived here. AIESEC in Ahmedabad now

stands with the title of the Most Progressive Local Chapter, and a dream

of doing bigger and better than ever before.

The main event is called ‘Discover Ahmedabad Weekender’ which is a series of events that includes major

events like ‘The Amazing Race – Play for a cause’ (city treasure hunt), Balakalakaar (closing and impact

showcasing event with 1000+ children for project footprints and some more projects related to child rights),

Global Village Grand with 60+ interns from 25+ nationalities and some small scale events like International

Diathon, Charity Drive, Cultural night etc.
