CEDAW
abbreviated as: Convention on the Elimination
of all forms of Discrimination Against Women
CEDAW
an international treaty adopted in 1979 by the
United Nations General Assembly
an international bill of rights for women
sets up an agenda for national action to end such
discrimination
in short, CEDAW promotes basic human rights
and achieves progress and overcome barriers of
discrimination against women

OF DISCRIMINATION

facts of human rights and fundamental freedom
