We base ourgenetic selections on these needs and feel we havedeveloped a tremendous cowherd complemented by ourselect herd sires which consistently produce superiorbulls that excel in today’s market. This year’s sale features a once in a life time

opportunity to purchase the walking rights in the 2011Canadian Western Agribition RBC Beef SupremeChallenge Champion Bull CSS Sir Gridmaker 2W. We areexcited to offer this great herdsire for sale along with 26 of his outstanding sons. We also have a number of bulls sired byReno – the “Calving Ease Supreme” bull and 8 exceptional yearlings sired by our remarkable new homozygous polledherdsire, G.Bros Ultimate 918X.The sale bulls have all passed a strict selection procedure based on calving ease, disposition, performance, structural

soundness including feet and legs. You will find they are quiet, thick, well muscled bulls with lots of hair. We ensure that ourbulls and cowherd meet the highest standards for herd health protocols. The cowherd has been vaccinated with Express 3VL5 and Fermicon 7/Somnugen prebreeding to guarantee that there are no BVD PI progeny. The bulls have been vaccinatedwith Express 5PHM and Fermicon 7 Somnugen at 60 to 90 days of age and Pyramid 5 – Presponse at weaning. This is Cedarlea’s second year in the Git ‘R Done Bull Sale and about the 30th in supplyingquality bulls to the industry. Garner and Lori have seen every facet of the business and understandwhat it takes to be profitable with problem free livestock. The Windy Willow operation has alsobeen supplying top quality Angus bulls to South West Saskatchewan and beyond for decades. Allthe components are here in this sale to make the sale topping silver calves that are becoming sopopular at all levels of the beef chain.I believe the Deobald family are putting forth the best set of bulls they ever have produced.

There is a large sire group by the Supreme Champion Gridmaker that has the style, correctnessand calving ease that everyone wants. As most seedstock producers we arealways on the lookout for a new herdsire. After sifting though ads and salecatalogues during the winter/spring of2011 we came across “Ultimate” atGilliland Brothers. His outstandingperformance and outcross pedigreewere exactly what we were lookingfor. After visiting Gilliland’s we wereconvinced we needed to buy into thisexceptional young bull. Ultimate hasproven himself with his first calf cropand we are proud to offer this set ofbulls at our sale this year. They arethick, long bodied bulls with a goodhair coat and large scrotal. Ultimate iseasy calving and we’re confident thathis progeny will be as well. Ultimatehas surpassed our expectations as aherdsire and we feel his sons have a tremendous amount to offer the industry.

Calving Ease SupremeReno was purchased as a calving easebull to use on our heifers. He’s donean exceptional job; lower birth weightplus shorter gestation giving us thebest calving ease bull we have everused. What we weren’t expecting fromReno was the above average growththat he is passing on to his progeny.You will find the Reno sons are allsmooth long bodied bulls withexceptional numbers for calving easeand growth. The Reno sired bulls havebeen working very well for our buyers.


Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable immediately after the sale in Canadian funds. All settlements must be made with the sale clerks beforecattle will be released. The right of property will not pass until final payment is made.Bidding: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder. Bidders unable to attend the salemay phone their bids and instructions to the sale manager, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale.Disputes:Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid ismade, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted thelast bid. The auctioneer’s decision is final.Announcements: Announcements made from the auction block will take precedence overprinted matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention toannouncements.Purchaser’s Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals willbe cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time. All animals left with the seller must be insured.Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by the appropriate breed association. Acertificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer afterpayment has been made.Delivery: Assistance will be given in making delivery after the sale. The purchaseragrees shipping arrangements will be at the convenience of the seller, but willbe as soon as practical after the sale, at the buyer’s risk.Breeder Guarantee: Should any bull fourteen months of age or over, fail to prove a breeder afterbeing used on cows known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in

writing to the seller within six months following the date of purchase or sixmonths after the bull has reached fourteen months of age. The seller has theright and privilege of six months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee isgiven that semen collected from the bull will freeze.Exception Guarantee: In the case where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproductive techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.The seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign bodies after theanimal has been sold or for sickness not apparent at sale time. In no eventshall the seller be responsible for more than the purchase price.Accidents: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the sale manager, auctioneer, or sellers assume any responsibility and disclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event ofaccident or loss of property.Sale Manager:By Livestock is only acting as a medium between the buyer and seller and isnot responsible for failure on the part of either party to live up to their obligations; or for the truth of any warrantees or representations, expressed orimplied.
