I use this image for my front cover, as it shows the group relaxing, but I couldn’t fit every one on to the CD size, so I cut each person out, and decided to collage the background, with the scenery that was in the photo. The name for the group came when I was thinking of words for collage, and patch work, and came up with Miss-Match, as the group of people all look very different, you wouldn’t necessarily see them all together. I see this group as a school children appropriate, like S club juniors or the Jonas Brothers.

I carried on the collage design from the front cover, and used a image of the group walking from the back, this also shows them relaxed and normal. The lyrics are link to back to they name “ Miss-Match”, and being good friends.

I use the rectangular Marquee tool, to cut each person, and the background. I lined each one up roughly, so you wouldn’t notice straight away. I used the curves tool to can the colour slightly, making it darker or lighter, so you can see it’s a patchwork style

I use the “Marcelle” font, as I thought it look a school style, but also female, with the curls and flicks, as the group is made up of girls. I used the magic wand tool to out line the font, so I can change the colour to a strong bold colour, to make it stand out against the natural colours of the scenery.

The CD comes across as not a stereotypical pop group, but a more indie, as it doesn’t use big bright colours, and posed photos that you link to pop music, they seem relaxed, normal, and natural, they’re not completely fussed by they appearance. They don’t look completely manufactured, as they don’t look the same, they are all dressed differently, with different styles.

The target audience for my CD is young school students, as the group are young girls it would be appropriate for middle school children, as they look friendly, and well behaved, parents work be happy for they children listening to them.

I think this CD cover has unique look to it, which would attract an audience as they would think it looks interesting, but it doesn’t show a particle genre, or stereotype of music, it doesn’t show the pop style I had in mind, but I’m still pleased with how it looks.
