CCTV Security Systems We supply comprehensive CCTV systems, providing you with a complete solution for a fixed monthly fee. We combine the latest CCTV equipment with passive infrared detection, audio loudspeakers and remote monitoring from our own control room to ensure each site is secured to the highest level. To guarantee our levels of service we conduct a full, free, no obligation survey prior to quoting for any works. This allows us to discuss any potential areas of high risk (diesel/material stores, plant etc.) as well as where cameras may potentially need to be relocated as the build progresses. Our fixed rental covers all works with no hidden or additional costs, leaving you in full control of your security budget. Our team of specialist CCTV engineers are all CSCS qualified, with required staff also holding SMSTS/SSSTS, IPAF and PASMA certification for a complete safe working solution. Their experience working on construction projects allows us to significantly reduce our installation times, giving you the security you need, when you need it. Images and alarms are sent via a high speed 4G or Broadband connection to our central monitoring station from where our team of fully SIA licensed operatives can view images and respond to alarms accordingly. They issue live audio warnings, track intruders and call for uniformed response or The Police as necessary. All alarms, outcomes and actions are logged and made available from our online portal, giving you complete confidence in the service you receive. What’s Included

High Resolution CCTV Our standard CCTV security solutions record at 1000TVL (TV Lines) to provide the clearest images during live viewing and recording. Standard cameras typically record at 700TVL and so our solutions offer an almost 50% better viewing image. The high definition images increase the likelihood of positive identification of persons after an incident and also make the system more usable as an onsite management tool. Below are some recent images which have been recorded on our systems.

Easy Interface - All our DVRs now have our new, ultra easy to use BlueDisc menu system. With its clear and simple layout it's easy to navigate and find all the features

you need.

Instant Detective - Instant Detective searches through video recordings stored on the DVR for movement in a particular area so you can find out what happened in

seconds without trawling through hours of footage. Once you have found the footage you want, you can even tag it with meaningful words such as “theft” or “incident 1”

to make future retrieval even easier.

Mobile Phone - Using the latest generation of Smart phones, live CCTV images can be viewed from the DVR and the Phone Connect software even allows Pan Tilt

control of compatible PTZ cameras. iPad, iPhone & Android apps are available for free.

Multi Channel Playback - Operators can see what happened where and when using the DVR's multi-channel playback feature to view up to 16 cameras at once on

the same screen! The unit even allows synchronised playback so it's easy to watch an event on multiple cameras at once.

Built-In Help Documents – Each unit features built-in help documents accessible to the operator at all times to help reduce callouts. The ‘How To’ guides are easy to

access and include tutorials on how to export footage, setup remotely, schedule recordings and many more functions.

RSI Wireless System Our RSI system is a wireless intruder alarm solution with integrated video verification designed as a temporary security solution wherever reliable mains power cannot be provided. Each unit combines a wireless PIR detector, CCTV camera and IR illuminators. Upon activation of the PIR detector the unit records a short video clip which is sent to our remote monitoring station where an urgent response to a genuine crime in progress can be generated.

The system is completely independent of power or external data requirements and has a battery life of up to 1 year for all devices including the control panel, making it ideal for the early or late stages of a project lifecycle where mains power is not available or cable runs may interfere with works.

Since construction sites are usually uncontrolled environments, video verification is especially important to eliminate costly false alarms and deliver priority police response when there is an actual crime. The systems portability means it can be moved around as the project evolves.

Although the system provides effective security it is designed to be used only as a temporary solution until our standard CCTV solution can be provided. The system does not offer the range of advantages of our main systems, such as continually recording to provide archive footage, and also cannot be remotely viewed in real time.

Used as a short term solution the system has proven itself to be an effective system for intruder detection and crime prevention.

Biometric Access Control Our biometric fingerprint solutions provide the most advanced entry and exit system in conjunction with our turnstile and cabin units. Removing the need for additional cards and fobs the system can significantly reduce running costs over the lifetime of a project.

The use of biometrics provides significant advantages over traditional card or fob systems, including the eradication of buddy clocking, pass back and forgotten passes. As each user needs to present their finger to the reader you can be sure that only people genuinely entering and exiting site are logged. The scheme also offers savings over traditional schemes as the additional costs of card and fobs for each person is removed.

Each user simply presents their finger to the reader at entry and exit and in less than a second the unit reads and verifies the users details, either allowing or restricting access to site. Should entry be denied a direct intercom is installed to allow remote entry to be made where necessary.

Should a user’s finger regularly be unreadable then a backup keypad system is installed, enabling staff to still gain entry to and from site, however each reader has a failure rate of less than 0.1%.

Onsite PC - The system is controlled via a central PC on site, enabling you to utilise and control the access without interfering with your IT infrastructure. We provide full training to make sure that you can use the solution to its fullest potential, including reporting on time and attendance and fire roll calls in the case of emergency. External Vandal Proof Readers – We use the highest quality externally rated readers in order to ensure the reliability of the system. The units have been specifically designed to work in the harsh conditions of the construction sector, and are capable of reading worn, dusty and damaged fingerprints, significantly reducing failed readings and speeding up the flow of staff onto and off site. Induction Readers - We provide a third induction reader allowing for the induction of staff to be carried out away from the site turnstile, preventing the slowing of staff gaining entry to site during induction period. Inclusions of the Biometric Access Control Solution

Audio Intercom

A full two way audio intercom is provided as standard with all our turnstile/biometric/cabin based access solutions. The intercom allows for remote release of the turnstile from the main site office.

CSCS Desktop Scanner

The CSCS desktop scanner automatically checks and downloads key staff data from their CSCS permit card, such as name, address and CSCS certification. When coupled with our smart site software the solution will also automatically verify the validity of the person’s card, ensuring that no false or expired cards are missed.

Backup Keypad

All biometric systems are backed up with our weatherproof vandal keypads, ensuring that no member of staff is ever left unable to enter or exit site. Where required site management can distribute the release code to staff allowing them to bypass the biometric system. Please be aware that this will not be logged by the Smart Site Software where in use.

Voice Off Unit

The voice off unit provides automated audio feedback to every user who enters site via the corridor. The message can be set from the onsite PC in seconds, enabling specific information to be relayed to staff. The messages can also include the staff members name automatically, for example: “Welcome to site, please be aware that Tower Crane 2 is in operation today” “Welcome to site John, please make sure all PPE is worn beyond this point”

Message Board

Within the corridor is a 42” plasma screen which displays live warnings to staff as they enter site. This can be customised via the onsite PC to make sure that the most relevant information can be provided each day. The system can cycle between several messages at any time ensuring all information can be relayed to staff.

Turnstiles

We are able to offer a range of turnstile options to suit your requirements. We are currently able to provide the following:

- Single full height turnstile - Double turnstile - Waist height turnstile - Cabin Turnstile (see over)

Turnstiles are supplied as standard in black or our company cobalt blue (Pantone 2766 C), however they can be customised to your chosen scheme if necessary.

The turnstile requires a concrete base to be poured prior to installation, and the availability of a 240v power source. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure these can be provided. Further details can be provided upon enquiry.

Cabin Security Our cabin solution offers a complete entry and exit security package from day one. Combining a full height turnstile, access control and remote monitoring in one single unit, the cabin is installed complete with the necessary equipment to have you secure within 48 hours. The system provides the highest levels of access control.

Corridor of Compliance Our cabins are custom designed for the construction industry and allow for the introduction of our unique ‘corridor of compliance’, allowing you to ensure your workforce are receiving the health and safety information they require before entering site. The system includes: Biometric Access Control - The cabin incorporates a turnstile linked to our biometric solution for access control. Users can be enrolled from the site office to ease congestion at the turnstile and the system can store up to 20’000 users, ensuring that you never need to make further purchases to keep the system operational as can be the case with fob and card systems. Video Screen - A TFT screen can be used to display real time messages to the workforce, with details such as forecast weather conditions, any machinery which is operating that day and much more. The screen can also be linked to our ‘audio alert’ solution which will automatically transm it an audio message when staff enter the cabin. Voice Warning - Alongside the video wall, messages shown on the video screen can also be configured to transmit via an audio loudspeaker. This provides both a visible and audible alert to staff, further ensuring that no warnings or messages are missed by staff. Internal & External Cameras - We mount high definition cameras both internally and externally to provide both security to the unit, and to provide a visual identification of all persons attempting to enter site. This can be used in cross reference with the biometric data to accurately map staff flow. Smart Site Software - The unit can be upgraded to include our smart site software where required, enabling you to accurately monitor staff time and attendance, workforce locality, carbon emissions and much more. Comprehensive Smart Software Our smart software solution is the ultimate in real time and archived monitoring of staff activity on site. From a single interface the system combines access control, time & attendance and full KPI monitoring into one user friendly package. The software works in conjunction with either our biometric finger print system or through an external HID reader that utilises the smart chip found on CSCS cards. This therefore provides a huge cost saving on fobs and access ID cards. The software can log the following information: 1 Personal staff details 2 Sub-Contract company details 3 CSCS Validation (with automatic refusal to site on expiry) 4 Individual, company and total CO2/carbon data 5 Local labour Initiative data 6 Staff and visitor mileage to and from site 7 Yellow/Red carded staff (with automatic refusal and email alerts) 8 Pre-induction data input by Sub-Contractors

All data can be compiled into reports and can be presented on an individual, company or overall basis, allowing for accurate record keeping.

Time Lapse Photography Our Time Lapse service brings your site to life. With high definition images and your own personal web space, our Time Lapse video option lets you showcase your project in a whole new way.

Using the latest megapixel IP cameras we are able to produce time lapse videos over almost any period of time. We have recorded projects ranging from weekend bridge demolitions to full 75 week construction projects. We host your project on its own unique space within our website, including both a live image and a regularly updated video of the progress on site. The page can be customised to include logos, marketing material and a design of your choice.

On completion of the project the video can be put onto USB or DVD for your own personal use. We can produce the clip in a range of file formats including Flash Video, MP4 and AVI. Used in company presentations or on websites our Time Lapse Videos really do make our customers stand out from the competition. What’s Included

Early Warning Site Alarms Our early warning systems allows any member of the workforce to quickly and efficiently raise an alarm across an entire site. Using wireless mesh technology the solution allows for the quick installation of multiple activation points wherever they are required.

Upon activation all units simultaneously emit a loud alarm and a strobe light is also activated for visible warning. This means that the entire site can begin evacuation procedures as quickly as possible, significantly decreasing the risk of sections of site being left unaware of a potential danger.

The system can also be upgraded to transmit to our central station for monitoring. We install a series of smoke and heat detectors at key areas around site which automatically transmit alarms to our central control room whenever an activation is raised. Our staff can then either view the site (where CCTV is also installed) and raise the emergency services where required.

Green Lighting Solution Our green power system uses a wind turbine to provide power to a lighting module, typically site signage. The solution can be utilised to contribute towards the considerate constructors’ scheme with reference to the following areas:

Noise Monitoring

Our noise meter provides a simple and cost effective solution to live noise monitoring on construction sites. The units are housed inside the main site cabin and provide a visible and audible warning should the noise level approach a predetermined level. The unit provides a simple traffic light warning system to highlight the level of noise. Should the level breach the pre-programmed limit we can also set the unit up to trigger a light source or sounder on site to warn staff. The system can be linked to provide a warning on site to highlight the issue to onsite workers. The units only require standard power source to operate and can be installed in a matter of minutes. If hired with the additional logger the unit is able to record up to a month's data at a time, which can then be periodically downloaded to our central PC for accurate record keeping.

Intruder Alarm Our intruder alarm systems provide internal security cover for site cabins, vacant buildings or offices. The units work passively and send alarms to our central monitoring station upon activation for response by our team of SIA licensed monitoring operatives.

Weather Data Collection

Our weather data collection centre can be run as a standalone feature or in conjunction with the IP time lapse solution depending upon your requirements.

Used on its own the system records accurate climatic data over the lifetime of the project, with reports available into almost any condition on site including:

- Rainfall - Temperature - UV Levels - Air and Ground Moisture - Wind Speed - Wind Direction - Relative Humidity

Reports can be presented on the supplied PC or stored as a PDF for use elsewhere. All data is archived on the system throughout the lifecycle of the project for whole of project auditing.

Combined with the time lapse camera we are able to present data overlaid on the images taken at set intervals (see image below) providing you with both a statistical and visual confirmation of conditions on site at any given time.
