CCNA – Details on Registration & Tuition Fees Payment - January 2011
The Cisco CCNA curriculum provides a comprehensive overview of networking; from fundamentals to advanced
applications and services. The training emphasizes theoretical concepts and practical application, while providing
opportunities for students to gain the skills and hands-on experience needed to design, install, operate, and
maintain networks. Upon completing this course you will be fully prepared to write the CCNA certification exam.
Tuition Fees
Female - KSh 47,000/=*
Male - KSh 50,000/=
*Discounted in a bid to encourage female students
To register for a course you are required to pay tuition fees indicated above before commencement of classes.
Payments can be made directly to the Institute Bank Account (A/C no. indicated on this form) or can be made by
Cheques/ Cash to the office of the Finance Officer.
Tuition fees once paid is not refundable with the exceptions of; If a student pays and does not attend class at all,
administration charge of Kshs.3,000 is deducted before refund is made. A student who attends classes for duration
not exceeding 1 week, shall get refund of total fees paid less Admin fees of Kshs 3,000 and further 20% of the
tuition fees. Anyone who attends classes for more than one week will not receive any refund.
CCNA External Certification Exam
Option 1: Cost - KSh 9,500 - Payable directly at VUE testing centre (details to be advised by facilitator ). The
above amount is discounted by 50% from the standard fee of KSh 19,000.00 IF student undertakes
the training at AFRALTI Cisco Academy and attains a score of 75% and above in all the 4 CCNA exams.
Option 2: Cost - KSh 12,000 - Payable through AFRALTI. Upon completion of the programme, Afralti will pay
only the discounted exam fee to the VUE testing center on behalf of the student. This is the
recommended option for the sponsored students who pay training fees through the Institute.
Students are encouraged to study hard to get the 50% discount.
Note: (External exam fees are subject to change by CISCO/Testing Centre)
Payment Terms
1. Full amount on/before commencement of training, or
2. Payment in a maximum of three installments as follows:
o Installment No. 1 - KSh 25,000 to confirm registration and prior to class commencement
o Installment No. 2 - 50% of the balance at end of Month One
o Installment No. 3 - 100% of the balance at end of Month Two
Total tuition fees should be settled in full at the end of Month Two/60 Days.
Payment Mode
1) Payment in cash at AFRALTI offices, Waiyaki Way during working hours (8.00am – 5.00pm), or 2) Bank deposit* at any Standard Chartered Bank branch, or 3) Bankers cheque (not personal cheques) payable to AFRALTI.
