Our next court meeting will be a Ceremonial on Saturday, February 21st at 9:00AM. Please arrive by 8:15AM. We expect to initiate seven new candidates. Come welcome these new ladies.

The Ceremonial practice date has been changed to Monday, February 16th at 6:30PM. A lot of key players would not be available on the original date due to the Yuma OV and parade. The kitchen will be open.

We will be setting up the court on Friday, February 20th starting at 4:00PM. Let's bring snacks to share. Along with the Ceremonial we will be having elections. Those seeking an elected position please make ar-

rangements for someone to nominate you. If you have any questions, please contact me. Don't forget our 2nd Annual Carnival is Saturday, March 14th from noon to 6:00PM. There will be fun, food and

games for all ages, as well as a cake walk. And our clowns will be face painting and providing lots of fun. Bring your family, friends and neighbors!

We are progressing with our Ways and Means, but we still haven't reached our budget. There are still 78 charms left to be sold. When all are sold, we will profit $2100.00. Valentine's Day is just around the corner, as is Easter and graduations.

I'm sorry to report that my bring back an old member for 3 consecutive months didn't work. So no one will be receiving the $50.00 Out Back Steak House Gift Card. Hey, it was worth a try.

Lady Andie Lacombe and I will be doing mini audits on the books in February. This seemed to work well prior to our last audit. We will need your books by March 31st for the audit on April 1st and 2nd. This time frame works well for all the clubs and units to have their books returned prior to their April meetings.

Happy Valentine’s Day! May Cupid find you! Anyway, it is time to get serious about attending Grand Counsel. The plane prices are not coming down yet, and I am not so sure that they will, so I think we just must accept the fact that everything is higher. However, one of our

members gave me an idea concerning chartering a plane to Orlando. I will check it out at the Chandler airport, my neighbor, and let you know.

Associate Princess Thank you to everyone who has donated money to my Special Project this year! I set a goal of $2500.00 at the January meeting and we reached that goal and then some! We have raised $2810.00 so far this year! We have a couple more months, so I’m hoping we will hit $3500.00 before we are

done. That will send some excited kids out for some fun entertainment. Our meeting in February is also a Ceremonial. Please bring whatever you would like to for the kids. Bring

blankets, toys, t-shirts (without logos), videos, CDs or donate to the Special Project. If you drop something off when I’m not at my station, please be sure to write down what you brought in the book I provide. It also helps if you would bring your donations up before the end of the meeting so they can be included in my report total for the day.

Second Ceremonial Lady Ladies, we made it through January and are moving into a very significant month for our Court. The February Court Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 21st. This will be a Ceremonial to welcome new members and the election of officers for the coming year. It is important for every member to attend!

After the Court Meeting we will be having a luncheon. It will start at 12:30pm, and the menu is Herb-Crusted Chicken with salad, vegetables, and dessert. The cost is $15.00 and can be paid at the door. But you must RSVP to me by February 18th if you are going to come to lunch. Clowns Hello Ladies, What a wonderful January we have had. The

membership tea was a great event. HP Lady Gina Baird attended our unit meeting; what a joy it was to have her there. We will have a full report about the Laveen Parade on Feb 2nd.

article for the Chatter. I don’t have too much new to report.

We had elections and Past Chiefs’ Night at our February 2nd meeting.

We had a great Membership Tea on January 11th. It was well attended and we had some really great desserts to enjoy. Some of our ladies are awesome cooks and bakers. Two new members signed up so that makes 3 ladies that I know of who will be initiated at our upcoming Ceremonial which is scheduled for

Sphinx Patrol This article comes very closely on the heels of

our January issue – so there’s not too much new to report.

The Patrol is hard at work to make the Sock Hop a success. We hope you will all attend – the date is 2/13/15 – lucky Friday the 13th! Get your 50’s apparel ready and show your stuff!

Our OV on January 6th with our High Priestess, Lady Gina Baird, was a great success. We had a lovely time and she was charming as always.

The Patrol was well represented at our Member-ship Tea. We had two new members sign up – so that makes 3 candidates that I know of for our Cere-monial. Let’s make sure we really welcome these new girls and get them into a unit quickly so they’ll know just how much fun it is to a Lady Shriner.

And don’t forget our Sock Hop scheduled for Feb-ruary 13, 2015. Got to get those tickets sold! AND, the LOS Carnival will coming up March 14, 2015. This is a great day to invite your family and friends with youngsters. The kids love this type thing!
