College GE Requirements: 18 unitsElectives (if needed): 21 units
Total Degree Units: 60 units
If the Associate Degree Program Goal is CTE or Other, then college must use the local GE pattern.

Labor Market Information (LMI) & Analysis
• LMI is a requirement for CTE programs.
• The LMI provided should be within two years and for the region the college serves.
• If the college is unable to provide sufficient LMI for their region, the college can conduct an employer survey in lieu of LMI.
ASSIST Articulation Agreement by Major (AAM)
Substantial vs. Nonsubstantial: Programs
Substantial Change•creates a new program based upon an active program record•Generates a new program control number
Change: Goals/Objectives, TOP Code at discipline level, addition/creation of a new program award
Nonsubstantial Change•changes an active program record•Does NOT generate a new control number.
Change: Program title, TOP Code with discipline, degree unit change, addition/removal of courses

Development process for:Transfer Model Curriculum (TMC), TMC Template, &
the Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT)
NO
• AAD approves the TMC TOP Code.• AAD develops the TMC Template with criteria for
consistency of templates.• TMC Templates are posted on the CCC Chancellor’s
Office website February 1 & September 1 (unless there is an error on the template)
• DIG develops draft TMC associated C-ID Descriptors.
• FDRG reviews & reconciles draft TMC.• Draft TMC is posted for vetting www.c-id.net.• California higher education faculty provide
comments/feedback.• FDRG finalizes the TMC & submits it to ICW
faculty subgroup for review and approval.• Upon ICW approval, the finalized TMC is
posted for local CCC adoption www.c-id.net.
• DIG: Discipline Input Group • FDRG: Faculty Discipline Review Group (CCC & CSU Faculty)• ICW: Instersegmantal Workgroup• AAD: Academic Affairs Division • ADT: Associate Degree for Transfer (AA-T or AS-T)
• CCC faculty develop an ADT within 18 months after TMC Template release, if campus is currently offering a local degree in the TMC major TOP Code.
• CCC submits their C-ID courses to C-ID for review and approval.
• CCC submits their ADT with approved C-IDs to CCC Chancellor’s Office through the Curriculum Inventory for review and approval.
• CCC is authorized to offer/implement the ADT program upon CCC Chancellor’s Office approval & assignment of the program control number.
YES
TMC is sent back to the FDRG for further revision.
TMC is posted www.c-id.net

Double-Counting• Double-Count - must account for the ASSIST minimum
number of units (not the assigned course unit value by the college) that may be double-counted for each GE (IGETC or CSU-GE) area (1-6 or A-E) (e.g. IGETC: Area 1 = 9, Area 4 = 9, CSU-GE: Area A = 9 units, Area B = 9 units. *Note: CSU allows the maximum number of units for each GE area and the other units to be counted towards transferable electives up until the transferable unit cap is reached.
• The Biology & Chemistry TMCs require the completion of the CSU-GE Breadth or IGETC for STEM GE pattern (33 units CSU-GE, 31 units IGETC).
