Overview
This specification document contains information about test items for the connectivity (conformance) of the
CC-Link IE Field network-compatible intelligent device station.
Conformance tests are classified into 2 groups: the tests conducted by device manufacturers and the tests
conducted by CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA). Test target modules need to pass (PASS) all the
conformance tests, which are described in this document, to be evaluated as a connectable module to the
CC-Link IE Field Network.
Fill in the result columns for each test item: When a module passes the test, the tester needs to fill in "PASS" to
the column, and if a module fails the test, the tester needs to fill in "FAIL" to the column. Enter “-“ in the column
when there is no corresponding function. Also, measurement value etc. should be entered, if necessary.
(1) Test configuration and precautions
• If not otherwise specified, the test should be conducted in the basic test configuration of Figure 1 and Figure 2.
• If not otherwise specified, cables (Type name/SC-E5EW-S□M: □ indicates a cable length in meters) with
Manufacturer: Mitsubishi Electric System & Service Co., Ltd. plugs should be used. The same cable needs to be
used for the test at CLPA.
• If not otherwise specified, Mitsubishi Electric-manufactured master/local modules and head units should be
used for the master station, the local station and the intelligent device station. Configurations of each station are
shown in Table 1.

Classification 2. Software test
(31/33)
Test item 2-6. Synchronization function (1) Synchronization slave station
Test method
Confirm that the tested station receives MyStatus frames periodically sent by the synchronization master station and becomes synchronized. The cycle (T) of the MyStatus frames sent by the master station is 888 µs or 1 ms. Present the value prior to testing. The test period is 1,000 cycles.

Judgment criteria
Observe the synchronized output of the tested station using the oscilloscope. Verify that the cycle is T and that the amount of error is ±T or less. The tested station should have an external output based on timing generated by the synchronization function. The station should have a function that identifies the continuous timing by executing inversion at the time of each synchronization process, for example. This may be achieved using a jumper wire temporarily withdrawn from the interior.
Remarks The measuring device shall be a device capable of identifying MyStatus frames and measuring the periodic interval.
