This is particularly useful for the delivery of complex, sizable projects that require: presence in multiple geographies, a large number of consultants, and /or access to in-depth expertise in specific areas. In such cases, Capgemini Consulting

Belux acts as the clients’ prime partner, adding value to their business, by connecting them with the other Capgemini Consulting organizations or other Capgemini disciplines such as Application Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Infrastructure Services or Sogeti (Local Professional Services).

In this model, the Belgian unit will be accountable for the services delivery, while the internal agreements with the other Capgemini units will be transparent to our clients.

manner. To comply with every situation and deliver with the same degree of professionalism, Capgemini Consulting adapts its delivery model to each client context. We also ensure that the right level of efforts is put in and the best approach is used, with respect to Capgemini’s Quality Management

standards.

Our commitment is reflected in our different collaboration models.

The ‘responsibility projects’

When we engage with our clients on ‘responsibility projects,’ we commit to deliver defined results under agreed conditions (e.g. timing, budget, etc.) and take the delivery risks ourselves. This means that we are responsible for the delivery management (including resources allocations, staffing, etc.), keeping our clients informed and involved via regular progress meetings and steering committees.

For the ‘responsibility projects,’ we always include a Delivery Management Executive role, assigned to a Vice President, to ensure that the services are delivered as per the promised standards. This Executive also represents our company to the clients’ management team.

The ‘responsibility projects’ are often delivered for a fixed price to our clients, with a risk/reward mechanism in some cases. However, these can also be delivered on a Time & Material basis, where the budget is agreed upon and is dynamically managed by both parties – Capgemini Consulting and the client.

The ‘Expert Leasing’ services

To support our clients in their multiple internal initiatives, we can propose our consultants on an individual basis, in a context where they will clearly add value. This way, the clients not only benefit from the consultants’ individual capabilities, but also from Capgemini

Consulting methods & tools, best practices, global experts network, and our Centers of Competence.

We can provide the service on a case-by-case basis, responding to clients’ requests to provide one or more consultants with specific profiles, for a given volume of work within a defined period of time.

However, this model is best suited for partnership agreements (e.g. Framework Agreement). In that case, we:

• employ a dedicated team and processes to manage the collaboration through the agreement life cycle

• appoint a Contract Manager (Vice President Level) and a Delivery Manager (Principal/Managing Consultant Level) who manage the delivery of the services, report to the client management, implement a forecast process to anticipate needs, and make sure that the right resources are available in the right quantity, quality and time

• (often) create a virtual pool of consultants (for the client), who have been ‘on boarded’ and can start rapidly on new assignments with adequate knowledge of the client environment

• can optimize the ‘pyramid of levels’

of our team to provide the best ‘value-for-money’ out of the services

The full range of our portfolio services can be delivered through the ‘Expert Leasing’ model, knowing that Capgemini Consulting will work under the governance of the client.
