Transcript of Cbwatch-2 en Anglais
Switching
l Monitors current during breaking.
l Est imates primary contact wear( åò i²dt)
l Monitors arc duration.
Auxiliary and control circuits
l Monitors operating coil continuity.
l Monitors auxiliary supply
voltage.l Monitors heater integrity.
CBWatch-2 continuously monitors circuit breaker condition. It signals in real time any malfunction to maintenance services. Therefore, CBWatch-2 facilitates reduced maintenance cost and failure risk.
CBWatch-2Modular circuit breaker monitoring system
Optional functions
SF l Monitors gas pressure and
temperature and calculates the SF or gas mixture density using the Beattie-Bridgeman algorithm.
l Detects liquefaction and inhibits false alarms in the event of liquefaction.
l Calculates SF leakage rates in order to give advance warning of alarm and lockout threshold levels.
Mechanical operation
l Monitors close and open operating times.
l Allows the use of conventional auxiliary switches, static auxiliary switches or primary contact travel sensors.
l Monitors primary contacts separation speed, buffering and over travel.
l Detects deterioration in mechanical performance (friction, corrosion, breakage, spring fatigue and buffer defects).
l Monitors auxiliary switch timing.
Spring operating mechanism
l Monitors recharging motor operating time.
l Detects motor or motor limit switch defects.
Hydraulic operating mechanism
l Monitors pump motor operating time.
l Detects internal and external leackage.
l Detects nitrogen loss from accumulator.
l Detects threshold pressure on hydraulic system.
