From the moment you arrive at the airport you will have at your disposal a car with a driver and a guide that will assist you throughout the journey.

In this tour through the territory we will open you the doors of private art collections, you will dine in some of world’s best restaurants, you will have the opportunity to meet well-known artists, enjoy the

best spas and beaches and try unique wines. We will take you to the best local boutiques, iconic

museums, most popular pintxo bars and you will overnight in luxury hotels and centennial castles.

On your arrival at the Basque Country, a car will be waiting for you at the airport with the guide that will accompany you throughout the trip. The driver will take you to Miró Hotel in Bilbao, a design temple, member of Design Hotels, created by the Spanish couturier Antonio Miró. Your room will be the Master Suite, a 46m2 oasis with views to the Guggenheim Museum.

To start the journey with good taste, the irst lunch will be at Nerua, the restaurant located at the Guggenheim Museum that has been awarded with a Michelin Star. After tasting the creations of the chef Josean Alija, a guide from the Guggenheim will show you the most important works of the museum in an exclusive private tour through the most important museum of the Basque Country.

In the afternoon you will discover Bilbao, a vibrant city that takes the leading role in modernity in the Basque Country. Dinner will be served at the Michelin-starred restaurant Mina, one of the favorite places for local people looking for seasonal products.

Day 1 Art

An early walk in Bilbao will take you to one of city s most representative buildings: the Azkuna Centre. This wine warehouse from the 20th century was transformed by Philippe Starck into a cultural and leisure center. The restaurant Yandiola and its spectacular rooftop-bar, located at the same building, is the place chosen for lunch.

In the afternoon the guide will take you to one of the most beautiful places of the territory, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. A chapel from the 10th century crowns this island. The chapel is only accessible by a narrow stone bridge and steep steps.

In the afternoon you will visit Oma Forest, one of the most iconic spaces of the Basque Country. The artist Agustín Ibarrola painted the trees of this forest creating one of world’s most important Land Art works.

You will overnight at Relais&Châteaux Castillo de Arteaga, a neo-medieval castle built by Eugenia de Montijo.

Day 2 Nature

In the morning the guide will drive you to Rioja Alavesa, a spectacular vineyard territory and house of the best Rioja wines. Your destination will be the Hotel Marqués de Riscal, a palace dedicated to wine and designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry.

After lunch at the hotel’s Bistró 1860, you can relax at your Grand Deluxe room and enjoy the Spa Vinothérapie Caudalie. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to visit the winery Marqués de Riscal and taste its excellent wines. Dinner will be served at the restaurant of the hotel, managed by the Chef Francis Paniego and awarded with a Michelin Star.

Day 3 Wine

In the morning you will visit the spectacular Winery Ysios, designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava, and you will taste their incomparable wines. After enjoying lunch at the restaurant of Bodega Vivanco, you will be driven southeast to the desert of Bardenas Reales. You will stay at the Suite of the awarded Hotel Aire de Bardenas. In this trip through the desert you will visit the famous formation of Castildetierra.

Diner will be served at the restaurant of the hotel, which has its own vegetable garden and it is specialized in local food.

Day 4 Desert

From the desert of Bardenas Reales you will be driven to San Sebastian, world’s gastronomy capital. For the next two nights you will stay in the Villa Deluxe room of the boutique Hotel Villa Soro, a lordly building from the 19th century that has been turned into a luxury hotel.

So as to enjoy the spectacular view of the coast and the haute Basque cuisine, the guide will take you to Akelarre, the restaurant of Pedro Subijana, awarded with three Michelin Stars.

In the afternoon, in a guided tour of the city, you will enjoy long walks along the beaches and discover places only known by locals.

In the evening you will go to the old town to enjoy San Sebastian s most famous pintxos, miniature dishes that have become the city a top destination for all foodies of the world.

Day 5 Sea

Eduardo Chillida is internationally the most renowned Basque artist. BASQUE LUXURY will take you to visit the private country house of the sculptor. His son, Luis Chillida, will be your guide to show you more about his father s work. From the best exponent of the Basque art to the most important gastronomic reference: the restaurant Arzak. Three Michelin Stars praise the creations of Juan Mari Arzak, a name that is top ranked in all the Top Chef lists worldwide.

The best way to learn about gastronomy is cooking, that’s why you will have the opportunity to learn how to cook the best pintxos of the city at San Sebastian Food Cooking School.

Day 6 Culture

Day 7 History

The 7th day will start with a visit to Fuenterrabía, a fortiied city located at the border of France. You will have lunch at Alameda, a Michelin-starred restaurant. After crossing the border you will visit Biarritz, summer capital of the royalty during the Belle Époque.

You will stay at Hôtel du Palais, the lordly palace that was home of Napoleon III. Dinner will be served at the hotel’s restaurant Villa Eugénie, which took the name from the wife of Napoleon III.

After visiting the beautiful village of San Juan de Luz, you will have lunch at the restaurant Martín Berasategui, one of the fathers of the New Basque Cuisine. In the afternoon the guide will take you to Getaria, one of the most traditional Basque villages where you will stay at the idyllic Hotel Iturregi. Getaria is also the birthplace of Cristóbal Balenciaga, the master of the haute couture that won Paris´ women over. A guide will make you a tour through the museum that keeps the dresses that redeined the fashion of the 20th century.

The last dinner of the trip will be served at Elcano, the restaurant that honors with its name the explorer from Getaria Juan Sebastián Elcano, the irst seaman that traveled around the world. Fresh ish is the specialty of this restaurant that has been awarded with a Michelin Star.

Day 8 Haute Couture

After enjoying the breakfast at Iturregi Hotel, your guide will drive you back to the airport.
