Billerica Catholic Religious Education Registration Has Begun for the 2019-2020 School Year! We are excited this year this year to be offering a program for children going into Kin-
dergarten, in addition to Grades 1-10. If you are interested in registering your child
you may pick up a registration form at the entrance to the church, by visiting the BCRE
Office located in St. Theresa Hall during the hours of 9:30-4:00 Monday through
Thursday, or by downloading it on our website at reled.billericacatholic.org.
Parents with children entering Kindergarten or Grade 1, or families interested in join-
ing our program for the first time, can find more information on our website or by
calling our BCRE office manager, Carol at 978-667-3733 during office hours. Please register as soon as
possible to ensure your child’s place in your first choice time/location.
As always, we need teachers, teacher aides and hall monitors. If you would like to be a part of this wonder-
ful vocation, please call the BCRE Office.

Family Mass What a wonderful Family Liturgy we celebrated at St. Andrew Church! Father Wil-

the opportunity to attend one of our Family Liturgies we hope you will be able to join us for our NEXT one on Sunday, May 5 @ 10:30am at Saint Theresa Church.
This Mass will be the Closing Mass for the 2018 / 2019 Billerica Catholic Religious Ed-
ucation year. Hospitality will follow in the Parish Hall after the Mass. Please go to

Peg Buffum Senior Tea Thirty years ago Peg Buffum, along with the St. Theresa Women’s Club, began the
wonderful tradition of hosting a Seniors’ Tea. While Peg is now greatly missed, her
tradition carries on. Last month, over 100 guests attended this event and were
treated to lunch, tea, prizes and beautiful music led by the Gentlemen Songsters. It
was a fun-filled afternoon for all in attendance. The Women’s Club thanks all who
made this event such a success and they look forward to continuing this tradition for
many years to come.
Congratulations and God’s many blessings to the families of Scarlett Grace
Avino, Skylar Gerelle Ventillo, Ethan Sean Bartlett, Emma Rose Davidi-
an,Levi Patrick Melzard, Denisha Huggins who was initiated into God’s fami-
ly this past month at St. Theresa. We wish for them a lifetime of learning about
God’s great and merciful love.

Do You Know A Child or Teen Who
Has Never Been Baptized?

that they might prepare to receive the sacraments
of Baptism, the Eucharist, and Confirmation and be
formed in our Catholic faith. For more infor-
mation, contact Tony Carbrello at 978-667-3733
x445 or [email protected].

etables, cereal, pancake mix, syrup, grape jelly, tu-

“God is Love” 1 John 4:8
Growing up on the edge of poverty, Hector wrestled with homelessness, and was struggling to find food. While playing basketball in a local Church league, he met Fr. Paul O’Brien, who encouraged him to go to college.
Fr. Paul was there for Hector at every step of his journey to college and beyond. With his help and guidance, Hector went on to play basketball for Regis College, graduate, and now works as a school counselor to give back to students the same hope and inspiration he received. Like Fr. Paul, our senior priests in good standing have been helping others for decades.
As we celebrate this Easter with our families and friends, please remember the Boston priests who have helped us along our life journey and consider making a gift of thanks to the special Easter collection for their health and retirement needs.
Funds from this special collection are managed by the Clergy Health and Retirement Trust – an independently managed trust with a majority lay board of trustees. The funds are used for the sole benefit of active and senior priests in good standing.
