Hi guys, just a quick thread for my X bungee !auncher"""""##

$ got moti%ated thanks to &ki''erbi!!y and a fe( fai!ed attem't at !aunching !ast

(eekend due to !ack of airs'eed mi)ed (ith torque ro!! s decided $ better make a

!auncher and sa%e a (ho!e (or!d o 'ain :*

Once $ (as ha''y $ cut the !egs do(n to a more 'ractica! height and the shorter

!ength makes the !egs sti<er too

e)t $ added the trigger for the bungee re!ease, %ery sim'!e $ (as after#

$t com'rises of t(o - brackets bo!ted to either side of the 'i'e, a bo!t !ocked from

the inside and outside of the brackets to strengthen and kee' the ga' for the (ood

constant# $ dri!!ed a cut 'iece of the /1 and it (i!! 'i%ot on the bracket#

= 38 nai! (i!! be (hat ho!ds the ring in '!ace, cur%ed back(ards so it (ont

accidenta!!y fa!! o<# -he (ood (hen 'ressed do(n on (i!! raise, 'ush the ring o%er

the nai! and re!ease the '!ane#

$ added rubber bands to ho!d the (ood do(n so it can not be accidenta!!y triggered#

$t a!so kee's the (ood square (hen using it#

One ring, the re!ease ring go to the trigger, the second rig goes to the '!ane# oth

rings (ere connected to the ro'e by using ;shing knots# $ used the tucked b!ood

knot, (orks %ery (e!!#



>ery neat knot, (hich $ !eft a tai! hanging from, the heatshrink ed the tai! to neaten

it u' a bit more as abo%e#

-o connect the t(o !ines to each other $ used the 5 turn (ater knot, again %ery

strong but (ith ro'e, a!so %ery neat too

-he idea being that (ith both hooks on, both the re!ease ring and the '!ane ring (i!!

both be under tension so no nasty shock !oad goes to the '!ane (hen $ trigger the

re!ease# $t (as 'retty easy to do by using the (ater knot#

$ came u' (ith my o(n %ersion of making the ends o< of the bungee tube# &o far 1

$ got some ?i!ko scre( eyes, %ery strong#

-he bungee of course, then $ si@ed u' some 'ro' shaft ada'ter rings



$ 'ut the rings on the tube, 2 'er 'iece, then g!ue on the shaft of the scre( eye#

&cre(ed it in, s!id the rings u' so the rubber (as %ery tight against the shaft

$ !et it dry and then 'u!!ed as hard as $ cou!d# &o far a 'ass, but (hen the sca!es turn

u' $ can 'ro'er!y test under !oad :*

$ think using carabenas bet(een the rings might be an idea#



=!so $ noticed the '!ane has quite high friction against the ram'# ot too c!e%er, the

'o!y tunne! ta'e does not !ike it# ut (ith the (ings o< $ cou!d hard!y kee' the fuse

on the ram', the carbon rods (ere acting !ike the ram' (as oi!ed :*

e)t mod, to insta!! some short carbon rods on the underside of the (ings to kee'

from 'aying 20 quid for one on!ine $ (as out of o'tions# &hay came do(n (ith his
