Generic/Catalogue Browser

Updated download manager UI

• The download speed is shown in the progress bar.

• The downloading progress bar will turn red if internet connection is not detected. Download will resume once internet connection is detected and the progress bar will turn to green.

Catalogue Creator

Catalogue Creator is now ultra lazy

• Creator will stop snoozing when the Catalogue Creator tool tab is being clicked on.

Introducing easier way to add translations/resources of a catalogue project.

• Export resources as Excel or XML files with an opened project file in Catalogue Creator > Tools > Export resources. Make sure all languages you wish to support are added in the project before exporting.

• Open exported Excel or XML file and add translations in.

• Reimport the updated Excel or XML back to Catalogue Creator with the same project opened.

• Note that manually adding a new language column in the Excel file does not work.

Added validation and warning dialog for unsupported language during project load

• Warning message flags when non-ISO language is detected.

Added support for copying and pasting in tree view

• Works in Product Catalogue tab’s Table of Contents, Navigator, Features tab’s Features View, Geometry tab’s reference tabs (acting only as copy source) and Product View.

Dragging and Dropping

• Ctrl + left mouse-click on any item in the tree view to copy by dragging and dropping to respective item.

Copy and Right Click Pasting

• Works for copying and pasting multiple items.

• Use Ctrl + C or right click Copy Selected to copy and right click on respective item to paste accordingly :

• Paste above selected : Paste the copied item directly above of the selected item at the same level. Example : Copying Connector, Material 1, Model 1, Preview 1 to Feature 1 to get the above result.

• Paste below selected : Paste the copied item directly below of the selected item at the same level. Example : Copying Material 2 to Feature 1.

• Paste as child : Paste the copied item as a sub item of the selected item. Example : Copying Material 3, Preview 2, Model 2, External Reference Key and Feature 2 to Option 1.

• Ctrl + V works for paste as child only.

• Nothing will happen if you paste/drop to an invalid target.

Implemented special copy and paste system to append to existing information.

• Adds copied information to existing item by right clicking on the designated cell of supported column in products, features or options spreadsheet to see the option.

• Columns that support the append paste option is :

Products spreadsheet : Ind. Tag Category, Models, Material Applications, Connectors, Categories, Features

Features spreadsheet : Material Applications

Option spreadsheet : Price Codes, Material Applications

Added support to add/remove items in Navigator’s Product Catalogue level

Renamed Refresh to Reset Desc

• Use the button to synchronize the product description in the Table of Contents and the description in the Products spreadsheet.

• Apply renaming recursively.

Added support to copy/assign connectors with/without connector properties.

• Connectors can be copied from one product to the other and could be assigned/unassigned from the Products tab’s Connectors column.

Added support to apply vendor changes to multiple products in the spreadsheet by highlighting and selecting new vendor from the drop down menu, or by pasting the new vendor.

Added swap check to ensure code range max has larger value than code range min.

Added support to toggle multiple check boxes of different columns whenever the cells are highlighted

• Toggling check boxes with a single click or using <spacebar>.

Added support to search for models in the defined Symbols directory by the layer name in Models reference tab.

• Does not search recursively.

• Must use full layer name.

Added advanced filter in Geometry tab’s product list

Added support to check for linked/unlinked files in Geometry tab’s reference tabs regardless of case-sensitivity.

• Works for models and preview images tabs.

• User will be able to preview product in the drawing with the correct pricing, tool tip and BOM.

Bug fixes

Generic/Catalogue Browser

• Fixed issue with the project tree view in the Symbols Replace dialog being removed after changes were applied.

• Fixed issue with saved COM in a drawing not showing up in the new property box.

• Fixed issue when user materials could not be applied to symbols after being made editable.

• Fixed issue with .skp models not retaining the applied user material after being re-imported.

• Fixed issue with the COM dialog being non-responsive when the dialog was open with a large material library.

• Fixed issue with incomplete manufacturer information in the Catalogue Details when the catalogue.db3 was manually removed.

• Fixed issue with freeform items in a picklist not being exported correctly.

• Fixed issue with functional part numbers not being updated in the picklist when its option was changed.

• Fixed issue where options from previous part numbers that had been added to the picklist would not be removed.

• Fixed issue where applying propogation changes in the property box does not work for nested or sub-features.

• Fixed issue with refresh needed when propagating changes in the property box.

Catalogue Creator

• Fixed issue with 2D and 3D view background color set in the Control Panel not being used in Catalogue Creator.

• Fixed the priority of an option’s preview shown in the property box based on the following from top to bottom : - Navigation image in the option - Material’s Preview Url - Material’s Material/Texture Url

• Fixed issue that made it impossible to close one or all project files in the Catalogue Creator.

• Fixed issue with vendorRef not being exported to OFDA XML.

• Fixed issue with omitted features that would still be exported to SIF.

Projects

• Removed extra Toolbox Directory explanation from Resource Directories help menu.

• Fixed issue with the navigator still loading the previous project after switching projects.

• Fixed Fixed issue with the date format not being exported to OFDA XML when the default date format was changed in the Projects tab.

Product Catalogues

• Fixed issue that caused the dragging and dropping of products from the top to the bottom or vice versa to not work very smoothly.

• Fixed issue with Table of Contents’s treeview does not remain close after deleting.

Products

• Fixed issue with where dimensions were replaced with letters, which would cause them to hang.

• Fixed issue with pasting value 0 to dimension columns.

• Fixed issue with connectors in the Products tab has its properties reset to 0 when copied.

Features

• Fixed issue with feature columns in the spreadsheet not being correctly displayed when sorted

• Fixed issue with option price code of the child product not included in the calculation.

Geometry

• Fixed issue so the priority of a material assigned to an option is always higher than the application area’s material reference.

• Fixed the issue with Geometry tab’s LOD preview not showing the correct material in super LOD.

News & Changes

• Added new Selection options for Box/Rectangle and Spherical shape selections.

• Added support for building model 2D from any LOD level.

• Added support for adding Catalogue information to imported .cm3d and .cmsym models.

• A new settings dialog has been added to the Model Lab file menu; this offers more detailed controls for model import.

• Added support for splitting and merging meshes, this also comes with the ability to (re)name meshes.

• Fixed issue with import of .obj files that could cause a crash.
