6 Who are we?

About us

About us

BLACHPROFIL 2® is a manufacturer of highly regarded construction solutions. For over twenty years, we have been trying to be a complete company, which is why we have been providing a full range of products: roofing, structural sheet metal, facade systems, wall cassettes, sandwich panels, gutter systems, as well as specialist steel machining services within the Steel Services Centre. Our offer grows every year, in response to new customer demands.

Who are we?

HistoryIn 1995 we have started trading with metal sheet roofing. Three years later, establishing our head office in Kraków, we had one car and two employees, but soon we began to implement our own products.Over time, the number of production lines grew, as did our team and offer, until in 2010, we were ready to build our own distribution network in Europe. The subsequent years meant an intensive modernization of the manufacturing system and new branches. The logistics-manufacturing centre in Grojec was joined by an extremely modern production hall in Dąbrowa Górnicza, and then, a copy of our office in Grojec, this time in the Romanian Cluj-Napoca. The last significant investment of the company was the take-over of the MARCEGAGLIA sandwich panel manufacturing plant in Timisoara, at the turn of 2017/2018. Both plants in Romana operate under the IMPRO® brand, which, however, fully belongs to the BLACHPROFIL 2® capital group. In 2017, Adam Małysz has become the Ambassador of our brand, we have established the Academy of Masters and created the BP2 TEAM in order to support young, but already award-winning cross-fit contestants – Gabriela Migała and Laura Horváth. The BP2 TEAM also includes Michał Grzesiewicz, Gabi's coach.

idea

„Every Academy meeting is actively participated by the best ski-jumper among roofers, and the best roofer among ski-jumpers - Adam Małysz, who became the BLACHPROFIL 2® Ambassador in 2017.”

eprofilThe internet eProfil platform is the most developed customer service system in the construction industry, which we have been gradually improving since 2010. It enables almost unlimited control over your order. At any given moment, from the level of your computer or a mobile device, you can check the stage or even locate a shipped product on a map in real-time. This also means full insight into the payment history and the account balance, access to the most current price lists and deals, and the option to easily create a cost estimate for the end customer. Thanks to the Roof Optimisation module, it is possible to quickly calculate the materials required to cover a particular roof, hence, decrease the amount of waste and unnecessary costs to a necessary minimum. The software visualizes metal sheet distribution on the roof, assists in selecting the most cost-efficient solution, generate a ready design or place an order. The functionalities of the eProfil platform cannot be stressed enough, allowing you to save time and reduce costs.

The observation of the roofing market tells us that the success of an implementation is most frequently determined by the selection of a proper solution. We want to offer products which satisfy the real needs of the market, which is why it is so important for us to listen to the problems and needs of the contractors. To this end, we launched the BP2 Academy of Champions, which includes regular meetings enabling the exchange of knowledge and experience, and to explore new technologies. Every Academy meeting is actively participated by the best ski-jumper among roofers, and the best roofer among ski-jumpers - Adam Małysz, who became the BLACHPROFIL 2® Ambassador in 2017. Our choice of the Ambassador, as well as his decision regarding the cooperation, were non-accidental. Adam Małysz has roofer education and experience, therefore, he knows and understands our industry really well. Only after visiting BLACHPROFIL 2® manufacturing plants and making sure he would be representing a quality leader, he made a decision in terms of a long-term cooperation. Within the Academy we meet among other champions, specialists in the roofing trade, in order to search for the best solutions for roofers and jointly shape the future of our industry.

Academy of ChampionsThe BLACHPROFIL 2® IDEA is based on four pillars, which guarantee stability and development of our company. The most important one are the PEOPLE. Mutual trust, respect and involvement, made some of us work hand in hand for 20 years! Whether there were just a few of us or a few hundreds now, one thing has never changed: we are a team. A similar approach is the seed for the second pillar of our company - RELATIONS. We build our good relations with the customers, vendors and co-workers based on an open, and most of all, fair communication. We value integrity and responsibility, which is why we are proud that we were able to win the trust of over 1000 active customers. Quality and efficient service are guaranteed by the third BLACHPROFIL 2® pillar, namely, TECHNOLOGY. On one hand, this means the production robotization thanks to state-of-the-art machinery parks, and the automation of internal company processes on the other. The EDI format allows for exchanging financial documents with supplier without human interaction and piles of paper, the eProfile is used by our receivers as a complex customer service system.Innovations allow for rising the standards that is why we have created own professional quality control laboratory, because at BLACHPROFIL 2® we always put the QUALITY first. Apart from the metallurgical attestations received from our suppliers, which guarantee specified level of properties of the received raw materials, we also verify their quality. Our specialists carefully inspect numerous material and mechanical parameters such as scratching resistance, coating adhesion or susceptibility to deformation. Tests performed in salt chamber, imitating accelerated impact of external factors on materials and profiles produces by us, allows for simulating material behaviour within a period of 30 years in just one month. All the operations give us full control in the field of quality of products delivered to you.

The main advantages of the ZET® modular tiles are:

+ “Z” type ribs making the screws and joints between the sheets become invisible,

+ guaranteed colour and structure repeatability,

+ precision level never before achieved of every element of roof system thanks to robotic,

automated production line, + availability out of hand and option to make immediate dispatch to any location,

+ professional product packing and protection reducing the risk of damage during loading, transport and unloading,

+ cutting edge protection unavailable for traditional steel tiles against corrosion thanks to the “Z”-type ribbing (patent protected),

+ reduction of average use of screws. “Z”-type ribbing operates as a zipper, eliminating the needs of folding sheets in this place, therefore, screws that are required in competitive products become useless,

+ unlimited freedom in forming coverings and reduction of material waste to a minimum thanks to symmetricalness of a module,

+ dedicated processing and INGURI® gutter system complementing perfect roof system.

Technical Information

ZET®Roof is the basic version of the ZET® modular roof tiles. Dynamics of shapes of slope geometry of the ZET®Roof modular steel roof tiles makes it perfect for modern, unconventional construction. Thanks to high ribbing similar to traditional ceramic roof tiles, it is widely used in renovated and monumental facilities. Great esthetics of this cladding is also achieved by hiding joints in shades created thanks to “Z”-type ribs and lack of screws on the ribbing surface.

Material used for production of modular metal roofing tiles ZET® is a coating developed in close cooperation with leading manufacturer of lacquers for the best ironworks in Europe.

Long-term research of the previously used coatings and monitoring of customer needs, with particular attention to the demands of the roofers, helped us to combine so many different advantages in one product. HERCULIT® is a polyurethane-hardened polyester, with great resistance to all kinds of mechanical damage, and a thickness of 35 μm. Modular metal sheet roofing tiles ZET® made of HERCULIT® metal sheets mean 55 years of guarantee. Moreover, they are distinguished by repeatability of colours and coating structure.

Sheet metal, with both sides coated with275 g/m2 metallic zinc layer, an anti-corrosion coating and single-sided with an organic decorative coating. Their advantages include high resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion, excellentformability and high aesthetic qualities.

The metal is coated with a mat organic layer with a gritty texture and a 35 μm thickness. Available in 3 colours with the option to provide colours from outside of the basic colour chart. Modular metal sheet roofing tiles ZET® made of sheets with MAT 35 Standard coating are covered by 30-year long guarantee.

ZET®Look is the development of the ZET®Roof modular sheet roof tiles. With the benefits of the system’s basic version, this variant is characterized by total elimination of screws visible on the roof surface. Thanks to the advanced installation system, being at the same time extremely easy for assembly, screws are hidden under sheets which gives attractive, symmetrical roof covering without any visible fixing elements or assembly holes. This is the perfect solution where the greatest esthetics is required. Product technical parameters, packaging and protection are the same as for ZET®Roof.

Modular Steel Roof Tiles

The ZET® modular steel roof tiles are symmetrical. they can be installed in any direction – with overlaps to the left or to the right. The selection of the installation direction may be a result of an aesthetic choice. Provide 350 mm spacing of laths. Correct installation envisages keeping the sequence of sheets installation, as shown on the diagram (in case

Screw fitting locations (for the ZET®Roof version).

Screw fitting locations (for the ZET®Look version)*.

Due to the design of the sheets (“Z”-type rib), the sheets cannot be lifted straight up from the package. Before lifting the sheet, it must be slid a few centimeters forward to avoid damaging the coating on the sheet below – see drawing.

Modular roofing tiles ZET® are delivered on non-returnable pallets. The cladding can be delivered without specialised transportation. A single palletcontains 264 sheets, equivalent to 212.5 m2 of effective cladding. Light modules enable easy handling by a single person (e.g. stairwell transport) withoutthe need to employ specialised equipment.

The pallet with ZET® modular roof tile sheetsis covered by a protective cover. If the sheets are not all used after unpacking, the remaining sheets must be covered by the protective cover.

2.1.

The standard accessories of ZET® modular roof tiles include versatile protective elements: styrofoam spacers (their shape accurately matches the form of the sheets), dedicated reusable cover with ties (to protect unused material), stretch film and straps. Professional packing and protection of the modules reduce the risk of damage and scratches during loading, transport and unloading. This also protects the sheets against adverse weather conditions during storage.

of installation from the right side). The correct installation method for the ZET® modular roof tiles is a staggered layout, in which the rows of sheets are shifted in relation to one another. This solution is possible due to the symmetrical shape of the sheets. The advantage to this panel layout is the lack of four sheet joints. Furthermore, vertical joints

are not continuous, improving the aesthetic effect. (Concerns installation of version ZET®Look and ZET®Roof).

Roof Panels

The panels are available in two versions (LAMBDA® L38 and LAMBDA® L25) and are extremely versatile in shaping the cladding design. They are characterised by a simple and universal form with broad customisation possibilities for: seam height, total width, covering width, optional ribs. Such a wide selection of roof design options may either accentuate the traditional form of the building or result in a sleek and modern look, depending on the building type and selected material.

Numerous specification selection options enable accurate matching of the panel shapes to the roof construction and building character.

The use of a click lock joint enables quick and secure installation, the design of the panels results in hiding the fasteners, improving the overall aesthetics of the cladding.

The locking joints of the LAMBDA® panels may be cut on request in order to incorporate the folding for the starting flashing.

The optional LAMBDA® panel folding for the starting gutter flashing [codes: LWZ] increases installation speed and safety. It also positively affects the aesthetic value of the cladding (cut edge is not visible).

Note! When ordering panel versions with notches for foldingthe starting gutter flashing [codes: LW], the production systemautomatically adds 30 mm to the ordered panel lengths.

Note!Due to the deign of roof panels, the cladding sheets may become “wavy”. This is normal for this type of products.

Steel Roof Gutter Systems

The material for the manufacturing of INGURI® gutters is supplied by recognized companies, which deliver the highest-quality steel in the form of Aluzinc sheet metal - galvanized and coated - constituting the input material for gutter production. A careful selection of the input material producer has a crucial impact on the quality and durability of a product. It is manifested in its resistance to corrosion and discolourations. Therefore, the INGURI® gutter systems are subject to a long warranty.

Colours Charge material

Printing technology does not have the capability of reproducing coating colours precisely. The colours shown here are intended for the orientation purposes onlyand may vary from those of the coatings themselves.

It is a steel sheet double-side coated witha zinc-aluminium alloy in a processsimilar to hot dip galvanizing. Thatway, it meets the most stringent requirements regarding the resistance of steel sheets against atmospheric corrosion and corrosion in humid environments. It comes with an additional, Easyfilm®protective polymer coating, which also protects the steel edges in coils and improves the aesthetics of the surface.

INGURI ® pipes are manufactured from sheet with hot galvanized feed, whichafter chemical cleansing and undergoing passivation is coated with anti--corrosion coats and a decorative, organic coat. The sheet is 0,6 mm thick, withthe organic layer being material of high resistance to atmospheric conditionsand mechanical damage, as well as UV radiation that causes color loss.

The INGURI ® Systems are also manufactured from Aluzinc 185 sheets withadditional double-sided polymeric Easyfilm® polymeric coating.

Property developments are often completed under the pressure of time. In addition, industrial facilities must conform to strict safety requirements, insulation properties, etc. The BLACHPROFIL 2® wall cassette is designed to serve precisely that purpose. The product, used as an internal systemic element for facade coatings, is primarily characterised by its quick and easy assembly. As an external finish, it is possible to apply any external coating (trapezoid sheet, PS panel, elevation coffer).

Wall cassette

Wall cassette - assemblyThe wall cassettes are attached to the support pillars [1]. If the trays are made of steel, the use of rivets is recommended [3]. In all other cases, the connectors are individually matched with the material from which the pillars are made. The sealing tape is placed along the pillars [2], on the front of

Elevation Cassettes and Panels

The advantage of protection walls built with the use of elevation cassettes is a quick and straightforward assembly. They can be used on any wall, suspended on a substructure which is a steelgrate made of Omega 30/90 profiles. The cassettes are mounted to them through kidney slots which allow for the compensation of tensions. Because Omega 30/90 profiles are the basis for joining thecassettes vertically, they are made of the same material as the cassettes, which gives the effect of even surface. For additional hardening, Omega 30/50 profiles are used. Joining the cassettes horizontally takes place on the basis of a zip, thanks to adequately profiled lower and upper edges of the cassettes.

Using elevation cassettes allows for aesthetic and long-lasting finishing of the elevation. They can be used on the whole building or on the selected, representative fragments such as front elevations of buildings’ office parts. Distinguishing the building’s elevation parts with the form and finishing materials is a solution that is often used in modern construction. In such projects, elevation cassettes, thanks to the wide range of colours and elasticity of measurements, are the ideal choice. In order to preserve the high level of aesthetics and functionality of the elevation, we supply system corners and individually produced processed parts.

ELEVATION CASSETTESModern form and possibility to use materials with various textures and colours allows for considering such characteristics in the design as reflectance, symmetricity and proportionality, helping with the desired aesthetic effect. Additional elasticity is achieved through a wide range of possibilities for adjusting the cladding’s length and width as well as the bindings’ length. The universality of elevation cassettes is additionally enhanced by the ease of joining with other materials within the elevation. Because of that, they can be used is sophisticated and innovative architectural designs.

Excellent technical and resistance parameters allow the elevation cassettes to meet the rigorous requirements of prestigious construction.

Elevation Cassettes and Panels

ELEVATION PANELSThe main advantages of elevation panels are the easy and quick assembly and elasticity in adjusting the cladding to the shape of the elevation. This product is also perfectly suited for binding within the elevation with other types of claddings such as elevation cassettes or LAMBDA® roof sheets for barges which ensures an attractive visual effect. Combined with a wide range of colours and coating textures, it allows for the execution of nonstandard elevation designs.

For the purpose of compensation of tensions which are the result of the material’s thermal expansion, front surface bending (convexity) should be taking into consideration during the panels’ assembly.

Technical Information

anti-condensation coating

DR!PSTOP® anti-drip coating is used in every type of construction with metal roofing. These include residential and industrial construction, sports facilities, farm buildings and every type of shelter and awning (such as petrol stations). We can use sheets with the DR!PSTOP® coating to manufacture any of the steel roof tile or trapezoid sheet profiles

The process of vapour condensation begins when the atmospheric conditions reach the dew point – that is, when the temperature and humidity reach the point at which water in the atmosphere begins to form droplets. This typically occurs at sunset. At night, the water vapour drips from uninsulated roofing. The anti-condensation coating

WARNING! Binding is permanent. DR!PSTOP® material cannot be removed and applied

Evening timeCrossing the dew point cause water vapour to condensate on external part of the roofing.

Night timeThe DR!PSTOP coating absorbs and keeps condensate. Prevents water dripping as in case of non-protected roofing.

Day timeAnti-condensation coating evaporates humidity.

is a membrane with specially-designed pockets that trap water, on one hand preventing them from dripping, and on the other hand insulating the roofing from direct contact. During the day the moisture evaporates back into the atmosphere.

again. When using DR!PSTOP® on industrial buildings, it is recommended to wash it with a fungicidal product at least once a year. During the roofing’s assembly the phenomenon of

capillary action. Hence, the DR!PSTOP® should be manually removed around the eaves and ridges (minimum clearance of 10 cm). The sheets with the applied anticondensation coating should

12

Anti-condensation coating is applied on flat sheet strip before profiling. It provides perfect adhering across the whole roofing.

DR!PSTOP®anti-condensation coatingCondensation of water vapour is a phenomenon that occurs with uninsulated steel roofs. It can lead to the appearance of specific problems, such as corrosion, attic moisture, and damage to materials below. BLACHPROFIL 2® offers a simple, economical, and effective way to deal with ceiling drip: the application of DR!PSTOP® anti-condensation coating. This self-adhesive membrane is applied to the underside of the sheet metal. The main advantages of this technology are:

+ absorption of moisture appearing on the interior side of the roof resulting from water vapour condensation,

+ additional protection against processes of corrosion (especially in buildings with active chemical environments, such as livestock facilities),

+ higher resistance than standard insulation and steam barriers, does not degrade, resistant to tearing,

+ easy to clean using ordinary cleaning equipment (hose or pressure washer),

+ increase in acoustic insulation of roof,

+ non-flammable, resistant to bacterial degradation.

Assembly guidelines:

Application

SOUNDCONTROL®sound-absorbing coatingThe use of the SUNDCONTROL® sound-absorbing coating on steel roof and facade coverings results in a significant improving of the level of acoustic insulating power. Consequently, the noise generated by atmospheric precipitation falling on the covering, and sound propagation inside the building, are reduced. Roof coverings with the SOUNDCONTROL® coating are applied in all types of facilities that require high acoustic standards, resulting from their size or purpose, such as: production halls, sports arena, agricultural facilities, and residential buildings.

The SOUNDCONTROL® coating can also function as an anti-condensation membrane, since it features very high properties, concerning moisture absorption.Installation guidelines and requirements concerning ventilation in the building are the same, as for the DR!PSTOP® anti-condensation coatingdescribed below.

Properties

Proper ventilation Chimney ensures outlet for moist air.

In the case of buildings, the phenomena of condensation may be exacerbated by the difference in temperature – the building interior remains warm while the outside temperature falls. The thermal conduction properties of steel roof covering causes greater condensation of water vapour from the warm interior on the inside of the roof covering. DR!PSTOP® guarantees effective protection of the roof covering and the materials below it by halting the dripping process.

In order for the DR!PSTOP® membrane to function properly, proper ventilation of the building is required. Because humid air is lighter than dry air, itcollects under the roof. For the anti-condensation coating to evaporate and remove moisture during the day, ventilation of the moist air is necessary. This factor must be considered in design of the roof. As one of the solutions of building roof ventilation are the indications of the standard DIN 4108-3.

!stick closely to the structure’s props and frames. Therefore, regardless of the profile, they should be mounted to the props in each lower wave.

available in our offering. For roof panels installed onbattens, we recommend using the SOUNDCONTROL® coating.

During the assembly, the DR!PSTOP® anti-condensation coating must be removed from places which do not allow for the outflow of moist air. Most of all, this applies to: 1. Fragments of roofing directly above

the wall and outside the building’s limits,

2. Places where sheets overlap – in case where the roofing consists of several sheets joined by length.

Improper ventilationmoist air is not vented.
