High alloyed steelSteels with high tensile straight Austenitic manganese steelsOther difficult to weld steels

Wire electrodes of the ER 309 L Si classification are primarily used for welding similar alloys in wrought or cast form. This electrode is also suitable for welding of “8 – 18” steel when severe corrosion conditions exist which require higher alloy content weld metal. MIGWELD 309 LSi is especially recommended for joining dissimilar steels such as “18 – 8” to mild steel and for stainless surfacing of mild steal, carbon steel and low alloy steel.

15 FILTUB DURWELD 12

DIN 8555 MSG 5 - 40 SteelsSteel castings

FILTUB DURWELD 12 is basic medium alloyed flux-cored wire recommen-ded for wear resistant surfacing. The deposit is toug, free ofcracks and porosity and therefore is highly resistant to deformation and impact. On the base material with low weldability is recommended depositing a buffer layer with FILTUBWELD 12B. The temperature betwen runs schould not exceed 250°C. The weld metal is still machineable by means of sintered carbide tools.Suitable for surfacing parts of: supports, bearing surfaces, rollers, excava- tor parts etc .
