About SipcamEcofective is owned and developed by the Sipcam Group, one of the world’s top 20 agricultural suppliers and the only Italian company in the business of global crop protection.

The group has a very impressive research and development capability, and through collaborations with universities and specialist research facilities is pioneering bio-technology to produce market leading control products, nutrients and biostimulants which will be key for the future of food production as conventional chemical technology becomes less available.

We have been delighted with the response we have received from our retail partners during our first year in the market. We have paid close attention to the reaction of both staff and consumers to our products and have increased our knowledge about what people are looking for in this category.

The loudest message we received was that, although a product can be naturally derived and/or organic, garden centre staff were constantly being asked the same questions: ‘Is this product safe for children and pets?’ and ‘Is this product bee friendly?’.

In response to this we are delighted to be launching a sub-category of SEVEN core products that are clearly labelled ‘Child & Pet Safe’ and/or ‘Bee Friendly’. They are all made using the best green chemistry available in the UK, and

are being used by professional growers and landscapers as strong alternatives to conventional pesticide and biocide chemicals.

If you’re looking for a way to tackle greenfly, blackfly, whitefly, spider mites, scale insect and caterpillars, then look no further. Ecofective Bug Killer has excellent pest killing properties. The two naturally derived ingredients work symbiotically to deliver a hammer-blow to common pests.

Pyrethrins, which are naturally derived extracts of a Chrysanthemum, known as Chrysanthemum Cinerariifolium, work together with the potassium fatty acid which acts as a surfactant. This decreases the surface tension between liquids and solids and creates an excellent leaf coverage to improve the delivery of the pyrethrins.
