We have a multidisciplinary Project Team with various and successful skills, with experience in this kind of projects. We have a huge experience in Pedagogical Design, having created till now more than 40 elearining courses in several languages. CREATING A COMPELLING CONTENT THAT GENERATES ENGAGEMENT, FOCUSED ON IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE, WITH WELL-DEFINED

OBJECTIVES AND COMINNICATES WITH THE TARGET AUDIENCE - IS THE DAILY WORK OF OUR INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN TEAM. This team focuses on e-learning training objectives to be implemented, on the style and profile of the organization and target-population in order to create a training that communicates the brand messages and establishes a “dialog” with its employees.

WE FOLLOW AN EFFECTIVE, PROVEN AND MODERN MODEL*, DEFINED BY THE APPROACH: “TRAINING-ACTION”:

Students learn by analyzing and solving problems to which we count on their participation using a mainly active methodology.

“Knowing” and “know-how” are closely related to “know-how to act”. The operational knowledge cannot be dissociated from its real conditions of application, even if it is E-Learning training.

The problems or projects are the “pivots” around which are articulated the operative goals of the E-Learning Course. It is necessary thus to explain the skills to acquire to put in practice and fix the desired results from training. These

results will be the factor to evaluate training. This training process is interactive and every course teaches us a lesson from which everyone can learn. We want a

work of continuous improvement.

1. GATHER INFORMATION

It is critical to know the organization specific needs to be able to make a precise definition of the work methodologies, training tools selection and resources allocation. The solution to implement should translate the customer’s business strategy because only that way he will be able to recognize the benefits.

To increase efficiency it is important to define the characteristics of the target population in order to adequate the aspects of communication of the course. These aspects include language type, graphic design, to navigation flows, choosing pedagogic methods, etc.

Identify and select materials Client (PowerPoint, Word, videos, etc.) is the 1st step in this stage for the development of programmatic content. The content should be designed according to a pedagogical strategy, associated with a logical and communicational interaction, where when necessary we integrate the "know-how" of our solutions to ensure the success of learning.

2. DIDACTIC PLAN & STORYBOARD THE DIDACTIC PLAN IN E-LEARNING IS ESSENTIAL AND ALLOWS TO CONTROL OBSTACLES, WHENEVER THEY ARISE, BY AN ACTIVE AND SIGNIFICANT

LEARNING.

Although in classroom training the trainer can adjust programmatic contents during the course, in E-Learning there is small space to improvise, because when participant starts the course all contents and exercises have already been

prepared. Due to this aspect it is imperative to integrate the didactic design in the conception and development of this training format.

The final result of this didactic plan is a Storyboard, where it is described how we are going to achieve goals, what strategies and activities to achieve it, and the duration of the course as well as an Evaluation Plan.

In practice, the storyboard will be the document to be used by the Production Team. It is where you find the specifications of the visual elements, text, audio and their interactions.

The Storyboard defines what the graphic designer is going to create, what the illustrator is going to design, what the narrator is going to say and what interactions the programmer is going to produce. This storyboard is normally revised together with Customer, because it is the central piece of the E-Learning development.

3. CLASSROOM TRAINING COMPONENT IN BLENDED LEARNING

FORMAT THE CLASSROOM TRAINING COMPONENT IN A BLENDED-LEARNING COURSE HAS AS GOAL THE TRANSFER OF TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES TO DAILY

REALITY OF PARTICIPANTS THROUGH PRACTICE (ROLE-PLAYS, CASE STUDIES, ETC.).

THE ACTIVITIES DEPEND ON THE OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING, COURSE CONTENTS, TARGET POPULATION CHARACTERISTICS, TIMING PREVIEWED, ETC.; ALWAYS BEARING IN MIND THE SPECIFIC NEEDS OF PARTICIPANTS.

• To generate motivation, involvement and participation is essential the characterization of the population.

• Course materials to perform a correct presentation of the course and objectives, evaluation methodologies, support tools, contextualizing the project and clarification of the process, doubts and possible resistance, etc.

The main objective of the session is the sharing of experiences between collegues through a report of concrete actions implemented, celebrate the small (large) successes achieved and find new strategies to overcome the difficulties. TUTORING AS WELL AS EVALUATION IS A MAJOR FACTOR TO SUCCESS OF E-LEARNING TRAINING. THE TUTORING PROCESS IMPLIES A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ORGANIZATION, THE GROUP AND THE

THE ONLINE COMPONENT DEVELOPS THEREFORE THE TRAINING KEY SKILLS WITH THE AIM OF TRANSFERRING CONCEPTS, MODELS AND TECHNIQUES

CONCERNS TO THE DESIRED INTERACTIONS IN THE DIFFERENT MENUS, BUTTONS AND ANIMATIONS. FOR THIS PURPOSE WE CONSIDER THE

FOLLOWING POINTS:

Letterings. Illustrations’ style (photos, animations, graphics, tables, etc.). Functionality of the Progress Bar. Contents indexation and it role/purpose in the course (static, interactive, with or without images, etc.). Illustration of characters. Languages (localization/XML). Subtitling scripts and voiceover.

The Flash development is characterized by the freedom and richness of graphs and animation. The Flash technology allows the creation and development of unique types of navigation, interactivity between concepts and more sophisticated pedagogic dynamics. The Scorm or AICC standards are integrated in the course through programming.

As it has a set of specialized resources it needs more time and more control regarding the immediate result in the creation of theoretical scripts and instructional design, which will define the flux and pedagogic methodologies to be developed.

Rapid Learning is a “high speed” creation, production and diffusion model of specialized contents. That is, contents are available in weeks, not in months, keeping its efficiency and focus in teaching method with a production contents within the standards of Scorm or AICC.

The Rapid Learning has fewer costs in terms of development resources, is faster in its multimedia production and has the advantage of building courses that can be delivered in mutltiple formats (iPads, computers, android devices and many more). We create interactive multimedia with linear and non-linear contents, learning simulations/games that may be published for Flash, IOS applications and also for HTML5, an increasingly popular format for delivering content with rich multimedia and

interactivity. Rapid Learning suits modular contents that can be interlinked/integrated into training plans or alone as specific modules of rapid development.

2. TESTS & VALIDATION

WE UNDERSTAND THAT EVERY ACTION MUST BE FOCUSED, BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT HAS TO GALVANIZE (REVIVE) GOOD PRACTICES. ABOVE ALL

THE PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO ACQUIRE AND INTERNALIZE THE KEY MESSAGES OF CONTENTS, BUT ALWAYS TRANSFER THEM TO REAL

DAILY PRACTICES THAT ALLOW IMPLEMENTING THEM RIGHT AWAY AFTER COMPLETING THE TRAINING.

And because we want to assure that the above assumptions become true, we propose, before the very start of the project, an action pilot with the entire target population, in order to create commitment and involvement to assure the success of the project. For the action pilot we provide a safety environment to the Customer with the possibility to use our own LMS (E-Learning System) to do the necessary tests. After the action pilot we implemented improvements and feedbacks received by the entire target population and present the final product where we implement the necessary final alignments together with the Customer. For the Staging phase of Contents Production we also provide Help Desk services and Migration support to the Customer LMS. In order to migrate the modules to Customer’s LMS, we assure:

The learning methodology that supports script’s production is the Learning Fluency Model, which was conceived and put into practice worldwide in Learning Videos. This methodology is based on 8 steps:

1. Introduction to reality in learning environment; 2. Promote reflection on this experience; 3. Understand the personal meaning; 4. Open to new concepts and skills; 5. Safe practice in learning environment; 6. Test that skill; 7. Transfer of skills to daily habits; 8. Continuous application and reinforce in the function.

This Learning Fluency model can be put in practice based on a visualization of an incorrect or right approach. The elaboration of the script can consider that the specific action will focus on the dichotomy “positive versus negative”. The graph illustrates this approach:

1. Through bad example we entertain and challenge people to think.

2. After that visualization the tension is created and solved – self-reflection.

3. Finally, with the visualization of the right behavior we want a collaborative learning that enables change of habits.

We suggest 5 steps to elaborate scripts that you can apply:

Develop idea: Creativity can be fed by reality observation and interpretation, reading documents, research and experiences.

Define a Story Line: Define “Conflict” (What?). Translate idea in an essential Conflict and condensed it in words. Any Script has a conflict essential which can be reduced to a single sentence.

Create a Synopses (or Argument): Define Characters (Who?). Decide who will live the basic Conflict and define the Characters Profile. The Synopses should define action location, in which period of time it happens and describe the Dramatic Action, the action structure described in next step.

Elaborate a Structure: To organize a Dramatic Action (How?). Define in what way characters will live the Conflict, that is, how the story will be told.

Elaborate the Literary Script: To include Dialogues (voices or voiceover), which are the main factors of Dramatic Time of scenes or sequences. The principal aspects to create dialogues are the coherence and the content.
