LEONARDO is a planning and consulting Consortium able to offer engineering and architectural services in the following business segments:

• environmental engineering • architecture and urban planning • networks engineering • transport engineering • food industry engineering

Aim of the Consortium

The aim of the Consortium is to promote the delivery of the engineering and architectural services above mentioned. These activities will be carried out in an integrated way so to give a complete service to the client in order to solve all the problems during the various phases of realisation, having just one coordinator for the overall technical management of the system. The dimensions, the complexity, the aesthetic quality and functioning of the contemporary works demand major skills and designing, organisation and technology knowledge accompanied by more accurate systems of planning and control.

The Consortium clients are Private Customers, Industrial and Investment Companies, Public Organisations and Commercial Businesses.

Consortium activities

Putting together the different technical skills, the LEONARDO Consortium is able to provide an integrated and well organised design that includes:

• project general co-ordination • consulting services • feasibility studies; • business and financial studies • studies of project financing • assistance in preparing documents for financing; • preliminary, final, executive design ; • technological know-how; • technical specifications for procurement of plant, machinery and equipment; • tender documents for construction work; • assistance in the procurement plans and cost control; • construction management and work supervision; • building-site assistance; • start-ups management and operation tests.

Consortium Structure

The Consortium currently has in total about one hundred technicians (graduates) employed in the various offices of the Consortium in Modena, Treviso, Ancona, Rome, Messina, Cagliari and, for each sector of activity, can provide highly qualified personnel capable to meet every customer’s requirements. The different companies forming the Consortium are equipped with the most modern I T facilities and are net-linked, so as to achieve a complete integration between the various functions, project development and monitoring of the work.

When necessary, the Consortium can rely on good cooperation and access to expertise (geology, economic and legal assessment etc..) to ensure the client just a single point of contact in the execution of complex projects.
