Taking its name from the legendary track at Moneyscalp Wood in Co Down, N. Ireland, the Nukeproof Scalp is our eagerly-awaited DH race rig, offering 209mm of progressive rear travel via a pull-link driven single-pivot suspension system.

Boasting a super-slack 63-degree head angle, 47.12 in wheelbase and 14” static BB height (medium size) the Scalp is characterised by its centrally-positioned shock and linkage system to keep the centre of gravity low and handling sweet.

Rear hub spacing is standard 150mm while BB width is 83mm and the 1.5in headtube can be used in conjunction with the latest generation of Nukeproof headsets to cater for standard 1-1/8in fork steerers.

Huge 40mm diameter main pivot bearings are used with bearings mounted in machined faces in the swingarm, to provide maximum spacing and stiffness. Twin dogbones pull, rather than push, the swinglink giving a perfect progression rate, and allowing ride height tuning by swapping for different length links.

Shock is a 240x76mm giving 209mm of rear travel, with a Rockshox Vivid R2Ccoil unit as stock on standard frames and Cane Creek Double Barrel as an upgrade option.The Scalp is available in a choice of Anodized Black, Anodized Silver and Nukeproof Yellow fi nishes.

SCALP DH PRO A truly race-ready package, the Scalp DH Pro has been proven on the World Cup circuit and comes complete with the highest quality components including RockShox Boxxer WC forks, Cane Creek Double Barrel shock, 1x10 SRAM X0 shifting and SRAM X0 brakes.

SCALP DH COMP

Using the World Cup proven Scalp frameset, the DH Comp will satisfy riders who want the performance of the DH Pro without the high price tag. Component highlights include RockShox Boxxer RC2C forks, RockShox Vivid RC2 rear shock, 1x10 shifting courtesy of SRAM X9, plus Avid Elixir 7 brakes.

Inspired by the explosion in Megavalanche-style enduro downhill events and evolved from a prototype that placed highly in the 2009 run of the actual event, the Mega frame is built to take the unique combinations of challenges thrown up by enduro-style downhill events and general All-Mountain adventure.

Offering 150mm rear travel and designed to match with 150-170mm forks up front the Mega is a versatile frame that combines plush descending prowess with pedalling effi ciency.

Main bearing pivots are contained within a bespoke CNC-machined bottom bracket Assembly to ensure alignment, durability and precision, while an asymmetric chainstay design gives clearance for a double front

derailleur (with a 22t-36t chainring set up) and compatibility with all leading models of ISCG-05 mounted chain retention systems.

Geometry is based around a 66deg head angle and 75deg seat angle, with a BB height of 13.69” for climbing and descending prowess.

A 44mm headtube standard keeps the front of the bike light, with Nukeproof headset options allowing all fork steerer option compatibility.

The Mega is available in a choice of anodised black, anodised silver and Nukeproof Yellow fi nishes.

The Mega Pro frame is a versatile beast that’s complimented by a top end of component choices including a RockShox Lyrik Air RC2L fork, RockShox Monarch RT3 rear shock, SRAM X0 shifting and SRAM X0 brakes.

Ready for all-mountain adventures, enduro-style downhill events and everything in-between, our Mega Comp comes with a solid component line-up including RockShox Lyrik R forks, RockShox Monarch RT3 rear shock, a mix of SRAM X9 and X7 for 2x10 shifting and Avid Elixir 7 brakes.

Designed in association with Euro 4X champion Lukas Mechura, the Snap is a race-proven frame built to jump straight out of the starting gate and hold the winning line until the chequered fl ag.

The Snap is constructed from 7005 grade aluminium using a tube selection designed to combine light weight with front-end and drivetrain stiffness, enabling fast gate exits and precision cornering under load.

Adaptable futureproof dropouts allow 10mm QR as standard, Maxle 135, Syntace 142 or horizontal dropout options, while a 44mm headset standard keeps the front of the bike light with Nukeproof headset options allowing all fork steerer option compatibility.

The Snap is avai lable in a choice of anodised black, anodised si lver and Nukeproof Yellow fi nishes.

NUKEPROOF SNAP PRO

Designed in conjunction with Team CRC/Nukeproof 4X racers Lukas and Michael Mechura, the Snap Pro has been proven on the World Cup circuit and is ready to hit the start gate straight from the shop. A well thought out component package including a RockShox Argyle RCT fork, 1x10 SRAM X0 shifting and SRAM X0 brakes completes this Pro package.

NUKEPROOF SNAP X9

As the name suggests, the Snap X9 uses our tried and tested World Cup proven Snap frame with a mix of good value, dependable components including a mix of SRAM X9 and X7 for 1x10 shifting duties, RockShox Argyle RCT fork and Avid Elixir 7 brakes.

ELECTRON PEDALS

Super-tough, smooth-spinning and rock-solid underfoot, the Nukeproof Electron pedals have been designed to offer a lightweight platform that isn’t going to break the bank.

Built using a Nylon Reinforced Composite, the Electrons use sealed cartridge bearings to help spread the stress load from heavy impacts and rubber lip seals between the axle end and pedal body to reduce the ingress of water and dirt – which will keep them going for longer in between services.

There are a total of six replaceable and adjustable steel pins per side to allow you to customise the level of grip to meet your own requirements. There are also two moulded pins on each side of the pedal for added grip.

Featuring the Nukeproof logo, there’s a choice of yellow, black or white and the Electrons tip the scales at just 338g for the pair.

NEUTRON / PROTON PEDALS

Smooth-spinning, super grippy and rock-solid underfoot, the Nukeproof Neutron series of pedals have been extensively engineered to offer the optimum balance of light weight and reliable performance no matter what the conditions.

Custom CNC-machined for optimum strength and fatigue resistance with minimum weight penalty, each pedal body spins on high quality DU bushings with two sealed cartridge bearings per pedal to help spread the stress loads from heavy impacts.

The low-profile parallelogram design offers maximum ground clearance and features a deep concave which allows the foot to “sit in” the pedal which improves grip and comfort.

Alu/CroMo: Forged 6061-T6 alloy pedal body and CroMo axle for strength and reliability at an excellent price (438g per pair);

Alu/Ti (new): Forged 6061-T6 alloy pedal body and titanium axle for lighter weight without compromising strength (374g per pair);

Mag/Ti: Our flagship model features a forged and CNC-machined magnesium body and titanium axle for the ultimate combination of light weight and strength (just 294g per pair).

NUKEPROOF WARHEAD FLAT BAR / RISER BAR

Manufactured from high grade 7075 aluminium and featuring a shot-peened fi nish to maximise fatigue resistance, all Warhead bars have a 31.8mm diameter clamping area for stiffness and strength at a remarkably light weight (just 316g for 760mm fl at bar version).

Options include fl at bars for those riders who favour a lower front end and more ‘weight-for-ward’ attacking position for improved traction and control; as well as classic medium-rise (20mm) and high-rise (38mm) variations to suit individual riders’ preferences and styles.

Nukeproof Warhead bars are also now available in an 800mm width option, refl ecting a growing preference for the extra leverageand control that wider bars can offer someriders.

All bars feature full colour graphics, incremental markings for cutting to preferred width and are available in three fi nishes black anodized, silver anodized or Nukeproof Yellow.

SHOCKWAVE STEEL SPRINGS

For plush and predictable performance on the roughest of trails some riders will always favour the advantages of coil shocks, and Nukeproof Shockwave steel springs are the toughest, most responsive and best value on the market.

The Nukeproof Shockwave standard spring has a 31.5mm inside diameter and is designed to fi t standard coil shocks such as Fox Vanilla, DNM, X-Fusion and many more.

SHOCKWAVE TITANIUM SPRINGS

Nukeproof Shockwave titanium springs offer the plush and predictable performance of steel coils at a fraction of the weight, giving you the edge when accelerating on fl at sections or out of corners.

Ti coils are lighter than steel, with lower mass meaning Ti springs are more responsive than steel for improved traction; titanium construction means the best strength-to-weight ratio of any metal out there and a significantly longer fatigue life means our Shockwave springs will long outlast the competition.

The Shockwave Ti spring has a 36mm inside diameter and will fi t most oversize shocks including: Fox DHX coil, Manitou Swinger, Revox coil, Rockshox Vivid and Progressive 5th Element coil.

NUKEPROOF WARHEAD STEM

The Nukeproof Warhead stem is built to take the toughest of downhill punishment yet weighs in light enough for XC racing, enduro-style events or general riding.

Custom-manufactured from high-grade 6061 aluminium to the most exacting of standards and featuring a cold-forged construction for optimum strength, the Warhead stem is extensively CNC machined to shave off excess material without compromising structural integrity and features micro-fluting to help dissipate stress loads.

It features an OS 31.8mm diameter bar clamp with a four-bolt faceplate system providing maximum security against bar slippage, while opposing bolts on the steerer clamp help to evenly distribute the clamping forces on the steerer and a knee-friendly design eliminates protruding edges.

Three length options - (50mm, 60mm and 70mm) - and three colour finishes - black anodised, silver anodised and Nukeproof Yellow - cater to individual rider preferences.

WARHEAD DM STEM

New to the Nukeproof lineup, the Warhead Boxxer DM direct mount stem is compatible with the four-bolt Rockshox Boxxer direct mount standard.

It offers the same tough construction and durable finish as the standard Warhead stem, with full CNC machining to shave excess material without compromising structural integrity.

Featuring a 45mm reach and OS 31.8mm diameter bar clamp, the Warhead DM has a one-piece four-bolt front clamp with stylish full colour heat transfer decals.

New to the Nukeproof lineup, the Warhead DM 888 stem is compatible with all Marzocchi direct mount forks. It offers the same tough construction and durable fi nish as the standard Warhead stem, with full CNC machining to shave excess material without compromising structural integrity.

Zero rise and zero fl ex, Nukeproof’s Zero stem has been built to take all the punishment you can throw at it on the 4X or downhill course. Custom-manufactured from high-grade 6061 aluminium, we’ve CNC’d any excess material to save weight, without compromising structural integrity. It features an OS 31.8mm diameter bar clamp with a four-bolt faceplate system providing maximum security against bar slippage, while opposing bolts on the steerer clamp help to evenly distribute the clamping forces. Weighing in at under 200g and available in anodised black, it’s the perfect upgrade if you’re looking for a stiff, super-strong, durable stem that will never let you down.

NUKEPROOF WARHEAD LAIDBACK / INLINE SEATPOSTS

The Nukeproof Warhead seatpost has earned an enviable reputation as a strong, reliable and lightweight post that you can count on in all conditions.

Custom-machined from high-grade 7075series aluminium, the Warhead consists of a one-piece 400mm shaft and lower clamp section topped by a cold-forged clamp head, with both the upper and lower clamp and rail assemblies CNC-machined in critical stress areas for superior strength and fatigue resistance.

The layback Warhead post features the centre of the seat clamp mechanism set back 15mm from the centre line of the post shaft, to suit riders who prefer the riding position that this offers or for whom it is ergonomically more comfortable.

Infi nitely adjustable for your preferred saddle position and available in three diameters, the Warhead is a seatpost built to take the hits of intense riding and racing without the weight penalty (weight is just 235g for 27.2mm diameter post).

The Warhead is available in black anodised, silver anodised or Nukeproof Yellow fi nishes.

TEAM / PLASMA CORE /PLASMA GRID / PLASMA FLOW SADDLES

Nukeproof saddles are stylish, slim, comfortable and feature advances in rail construction including our exclusive CrN Ti alloy rail compound for improved strength-to-weight ratio.

Available in a variety of colours, they use a tough tear-resistant covering and are shaped for long-distance comfort and improved circulation. A synthetic grip strip along the length of the saddle improves grip in wet and muddy conditions.

ELEMENT HALF WAFFLE /SKINNY GRIPS

Faith in your contact points means that punishing descent after punishing climb, in the hills or on a downhill race run, you will be confi dent at all times in your ability to control your bike accurately, whatever the conditions.

The Nukeproof Element grip has a custom specifi ed soft-compound Kraton rubber grip for a combination of long-haul comfort and split-second control; CNC’d 7000-series aluminium lockrings for wet-weather peace of mind, and a choice of MX-evolved half waffl e or simple knurled pattern to suit all preferences and hand sizes.

WARHEAD HEADSETS

Our headset line has been developed to cater for the ever-expanding range of mountain bike frame and fork design, and the emergence of new headtube/fork steerer standards. Precision-engineered to the most exacting of tolerances, the latest generation of Warhead headsets promise the same fi t-and-forget performance as their predecessors but now offer compatibility with traditional and emerging standards. With 1.5in, taper steerer and internal zero stack headsets in our range, along with a world fi rst headset allowing 1.5in steerer fi tment in a 44mm ID headtube, there’s a Nukeproof headset for whatever you ride. Based on the race-proven MTX 29 rim by Sun Ringlé, the 32-hole Generator Race is welded for strength with a width of 29mm to enable secure mounting of large-volume tyres.

Featuring fresh new graphics and available in black, silver and Nukeproof Yellow, the Generator Race rim builds into a strong, light and durable wheelset ready to inspire hard-riding confidence on the trail or on therace track.

GENERATOR WHEELS

The Nukeproof Generator Race factory wheelset has been developed to answer the needs of hard-hitting riders across a range of mountain biking disciplines, offering superior performance, durability, strengh and versatility without the weight penalty.

At the heart of the wheelset is the Nukeproof Generator hub, cold-forged from 7075series aluminium for optimum strength and fatigue resistance, and with extensive CNC machining to shave excess weight without compromising structural integrity. With 32-hole construction and IS 6-bolt disc rotor mounts as standard, their light weight belies their ability to take hard knocks.

Generator Race front wheels run on two sealed cartridge bearings and are available in 15mm/QR and 20mm/Qr thru-axle options, with a supplied conversion kit to alternate between standards.

Generator Race rear wheels feature a total of fi ve sealed cartridge bearings and six pawls with leaf springs for positive engagement, and a hard anodised alloy cassette carrier. Axle options cater to the needs of all riders with 135mm/QR, 135mm/12mm and 150mm/12mm available.

Nukeproof Generator hubs are essential components for any high-grade wheelset, providing smooth and long-lasting bearing performance, a light weight that beliestheir ability to take hard knocks and enough axle options to satisfy every riding discipline and every rider. A tough but lightweight 7075-series aluminium main hub body features cold forged construction for optimum strength and fatigue resistance while extensive CNC machining shaves excess weight without compromising structural integrity.

Featuring a bold new graphic scheme, Generator hubs are available in three colour fi nishes: black, silver and yellow.Generator front hubs feature two sealed cartridge bearings to keep things running smoothly while a 7075 alloy sub-axle prevents unserviced bearings from rusting onto the axle.

The 15mm/QR front hub enables compatability with the latest generation of 15mm thru-axle cross-country and trail forks for improved stiffness, strength and straight-line steering. Converstion kit is included for quick changeover between standards.

GENERATOR REAR HUB

The Generator rear 135mm/QR has been designed to fi t frames with a 135mm hub spacing and is built to take the punishment of downhill racing while still retaining the light weight necessary for all-round riding.

The Generator rear 135mm x 12mm has been designed to fi t frames with a 135mm hub spacing and make use of a 12mm thru-axle.

The Generator rear XL 150mm x 12mm has been designed to fi t frames with a 150mm hub spacing and is built to take the punishment of downhill racing and freeride applications.

The hub features a total of fi ve sealed cartridge bearings - two on the drive side to help spread the loads of pedalling forces through the hub, one on the non-drive side and a further two in the freehub body.

A low friction seal between the bearings and freehub body eliminates contamination of the bearings from ingress of water and dust.

These hubs feature six pawls with leaf springs which are located in the main hub body for ease of maintenance. These engage into a 30-tooth steel ratchet in the alloy freehub body for additional strength and increased leverage ratio which provides positive engagement and super fast pick up for increased acceleration.

The alloy cassette carrier has been cold forged with extensive CNC machining to exacting tolerances and features a hard anodized fi nish for durability and strength.

Weight for the Generator 135mm/QR rear hub is 305g. Weight for the Generator 135 x 12mm rear hub is 300g. Weight for the Generator XL 150mm x 12mm rear hub is 330g.

The Nukeproof Warhead seatclamp is a top quality fit-and-forget component available in three size options.

Constructed from 6061 aluminium, it’s been CNC machined to remove any excess weight and uses a unique brass barrel for a secure fit and to prevent the threads from stripping.

Laser etched graphics and a black anodised finish complete the look on this super value seatclamp.

SCIENCE BRAKE PADS

Nukeproof Science brake pads offer day-to-day riders a performance pad with long life and excellent value; for Enduro and AM exponents a pad that can cope with the demands of multiple lengthy descents; and for DH competitors a pad providing ultimate race day precision and control.

Custom-manufactured in Japan to our exacting standards, Science pads feature a semi-metallic compound mounted on steel backplates for excellent heat dissipation and are available to fit all major brake systems.

Tested to their limit in all possible conditions by some of the world’s toughest and most demanding riders, Science pads will outperform the competition in wet weather or dry.

TURBINE SPACERS

Precision machined from high-grade 6061 aluminium, Nukeproof Turbine headset spacers are engineered to the most exacting of tolerances to cope with the demands of elite-level gravity riding.

Black with laser-etched graphics, Turbine spacers are available in a range of six sizes for perfect adjustment – 3mm, 5mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm and 25mm – with options to fit both 1 1/8” and 1.5” fork steerer tube diameters.
