Our UCO (Used Cooking Oil) is a composition of different mixtures of Oil which

are discarded from the industrial deep fryers. This undergoes intense dewatering

and filtration from sludge. The types of oil mixture comprising our supply

standard Used Cooking Oil such as Canola Oil, Sunflower Oil, Palm Olein, Soybean

oil etc. Each and all of the mentioned oil comprising this Waste Vegetable Oil

depends on the restaurants it is discarded and recycled from and the type of oil

they use for their frying.

USED COOKING OIL - Overview -

Waste vegetable oil is an oil used, through frying, which has become unsuitable for its original purpose due to the presence of impurities or loss of original properties. Vegetable oil is an alternative fuel for diesel engines and for heating oil burners. For engines designed to burn diesel fuel,the viscosity of vegetable oil must be lowered to allow for proper atomization of the fuel, otherwise incompletecombustion and carbon build up will ultimately damage the engine. Manyenthusiasts refer to vegetable oil used as fuel as waste vegetable oil (WVO) if it is oilthat was discarded from a restaurant or straightvegetable oil (SVO) or pure plant oil (PPO) todistinguish it from biodiesel.


The specification below is our export standard suitable for Biodiesel production.

M.I.U. (Moisture and Impurities) : 2% max

Saponification Value : 175-195 mg KOH/g

Iodine Value : 35-50

Titre C (melting point) : 23-28 C min
