Casey Saxon A native of Florida, Casey Saxon received her early dance training in Gainesville under Nina Cameron and at the age of 18, continued her studies in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Saxon spent three years training, teaching and performing with world renowned Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. While in Chicago, Ms. Saxon studied with and/or performed works by Michael Taylor, Eddy Ocampo, Kirby Reed, Gus Giordano, Nan Giordano, Jon Lehrer, Anna Czajun, Billy Siegenfeld, Susan Quinn Williams, Joel Hall, Claire Bataille, Randy Duncan, Frank Chaves, Sherry Zunker and Harrison McEldowney. Ms. Saxon returned to Florida and earned an Associate in Arts from Santa Fe Community College as a Creative Arts and Humanities Dance scholar. She then received her Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking from the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she experimented with ways in which to combine the art forms of film and dance. Ms. Saxon has taught and choreographed for various festivals, colleges and performing arts high schools including Valencia Community College, Seminole Community College, Santa Fe Community College, University of Florida, Edgewater High School, Osceola School for the Arts, BAK Middle School for the Arts, Douglas Anderson School for the Arts, Palm Beach Performing Arts and the Florida Dance Association's Florida Dance Festival On Tour. Recently, Ms. Saxon was commissioned to be the choreographer of Urinetown the Musical at Seminole Community College. Currently, Ms. Saxon is collaborating with Associate Artistic Director to Florida Dance Theatre of Lakeland, Ferdinand DeJesus, on a project called MOVE. In 2005, Ms. Saxon founded her own professional dance company, CineDance Jazz Dance, in response to her desire to create professional concert jazz dance in the Central Florida area. CineDance uses projection in conjunction with live dance performance to tell universal stories through motion. CineDance has produced 4 full-length programs, performed at the 2007 Orlando International Fringe Festival, All Hallows 10 for Fringe 2006 -2007, Happenstance I, II,

Ms. Saxon’s company is currently in residency at the Harwood-Watson Dance Studios.
