Therapeutic

symptoms caused
by excessive
gastric acid.
Constipation,diarrhea,
flatulence,
nausea, vomiting,
& acid
regurgitation,
abdominal pain,
asthma,
headache,dizziness,rash.
Contraindicated inpatients
hypersensitive to
the drug or any of
its components.
In children ages 2
to 16 years, drug
may be used to
treat GERD,erosive
esophagitis, and
for maintenance
of heading erosive
esophagitis
(tablets and
capsules only).
Explain to thepatient how to
reconstitute
powder for oral
suspensions.
Empty pocket
contents into a
small cup
containing 2 tbs ofh2O. Stir well and
drink moderately.

Dont use
aluminum based
needles or
equipment when
mixing or giving
drug parenterally
because drug isincompatible with
aluminum.
