Since 1976 Peli cases have become the market leader in rugged waterproof protection.

Their outstanding reputation is well earned over the years; they have done it all – crashed down ravines, floated along rivers, been run over by 4x4s, as well as surviving a missile attack on a US helicopter.

Peli Protector, Storm and Air cases are manufactured using injection moulding; as the name implies, a standard mould is used for each particular size of case, e.g. 1200, 1510, 1660 etc. The plastic used in these cases is typically a proprietary combination of homo- and co-polymers. This combination allows for a stronger yet lighter case; rugged but with a sleek finish.

The Peli Protector case uses an open cell core and solid wall construction which is stronger and lighter than a solid core wall. The material is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer which is extremely strong and durable. The neoprene o-ring and ABS latches seal perfectly to maintain the waterproof integrity of the case.

Manufactured in Torrance California and more recently also in Germany, the Protector case range has grown and developed over the years and there are now over 60 models.

The Peli Storm case is the result of years of rigorous testing in the laboratory and in the field. From the HPX™ plastic resin that has proved tough during low temperature impact testing to the patented press and pull latch that opens easily; every feature of these lightweight cases has been designed to protect vital gear.

The corners of a Peli Storm case are rounded to deflect and absorb impact; dispensing kinetic energy throughout the case to ensure the security of the contents. The Vortex™ valve automatically adjusts air pressure without letting in water.

The Peli case design has undergone many refinements over the years; this evolution is proven through a variety of lab tests including drop, vibration, leak, heat and dust tests.

Drop-tested on concrete with loads from six feet on all sides and corners

Submerged for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 metre

Wheeled cases are roll-tested over 900 metres with loads at 8 kph

Weighted steel dart dropped on all sides from 0.9 metres

Peli Protector and Peli Storm cases are NATO-codified and tested to MIL C-4150J (Military Standard), IP67 (Ingress Protection) and

IATA (International Air Transport Association).

The design engineers have revolutionised the protector case by reducing structural waste while preserving Peli’s legendary standards of strength.

M ost Peli Protector, Storm and Air Cases are available with our exclusive PICK N PLUCK foam.

Simply place your equipment on top of the pre-scored layers of foam, leaving adequate space between each piece of equipment, carefully pick out the area which is not needed. The equipment should fit snugly into this area.

An alternative to foam is our optional Padded Divider Sets

with Velcro© sides.

Enabling flexible and changeable configuration of internal compartments.

Alternative versions for medical equipment are available and fit Peli 1500, 1550 & 1600 cases.

Significant investment has been made in this facility; with new machinery, the latest design engineering software and scanning equipment.

By developing their protective packaging solutions MSA offer a full design and manufacturing service with a wide range of specialised foams, designed for individual requirements, ideal for sensitive equipment.

SIX SIMPLE STEPS TO YOUR SYSTEM

TrekPak is a simple and versatile divider system designed specifically to fit Peli™ cases.

The divider sections are light, strong and almost impossible to tear or shred, these panels keep the contents safe and organised. The unique pin system allows for flexible adjustment of the dividers as the contents of the case change.

TrekPak allows the user to optimise the space while maximising protection.

Part of the Peli UK Group, MSA Foams are proud to exclusively manufacture and distribute TrekPak for Europe, under licence to TrekPak LLC.

Plan exactly what you want to include in your case. Gather your items and insert your base and lid foam into your case before applying your

TrekPak.

Apply your border, which is pre-cut to fit the shape of your case. For cases with wheels, there are cut outs

at the bottom to allow for a comfortable fit around the

extruding wheel arches.

Place your items in your case before you start cutting, it

is important you plot where your items will be placed. This helps you cut to size easily without having to change your gear to suit

your TrekPak.

Measure out the length of your TrekPak and use the cutter provided to get the

right size walls for your items.

Add the red pull tabs onto your pins and attach your TrekPak to your bordering

walls. With everything secure, you and your new TrekPak

system are good to go!

The Stanag 4280/Defstan 81-41 is a certification recognised by both the UK military and NATO.

Internal dimensions shown are the maximum measurement, not taking account of protrusions and draft angles.

Draft angles will reduce the length and width dimension depending on the case model.

A C C E S S O R I E S

Peli lid organisers feature a multitude of pockets in various sizes to protect and keep gear organised.

The lid organiser is attached to the case lid with Velcro® strips or self tapping screws. EMS version (shown above in orange) for 1500, 1550 & 1600 cases.

LID ORGANISERS*

A divider system consisting of padded nylon dividers with Velcro® sides, enabling flexible and changeable configuration of internal compartments.

EMS Version for medical equipment (shown left) fits 1500, 1550 and 1600 cases.

PADDED DIVIDER SETS*

A mounting bracket to install electronics or instrumentation panels.

An o-ring gasket seals the panel so that the case remains watertight, even with the lid open (panel not included).

A C C E S S O R I E S

An aluminium frame system for mounting electronic equipment in base or lid of case.

Moulded corner pieces fit at any depth in the case and use extruded aluminium for the bezel sides. The sides screw directly into the side of the case and an o-ring

seal keeps it watertight.

The electronic panel screws directly to the bezel.

STORM CASE BASE & LID BEZEL KITS*

An optional pallet riser kit for the 0500 and 0550 allows for a forklift truck to move the case without the need for a pallet.

PALLET RISER KIT

Optional tool organisers that fit snugly into the case drawers.

0450 TOOL CHEST ORGANISERS

A three digit combination TSA approved lock. Works with a TSA pass key enabling access by inspectors (only in USA).

PELI TSA LOCK
