Here the use of predominantly dark colours creates an element of

suspicion, mystery, unpredictability and danger in the viewers mind.

This is particularly effective within this cover as the focus is Batman, a character notoriously known for his

unpredictability and mysterious nature. The use of the bright gold belt contrasts nicely with the dark colours of the background and the traditional yellow and black logo reinforces the brand colours. As a

viewer, this makes me want to watch the film and therefore, in my

opinion, is very effective.

Here the use of colour is very effective in creating meaning. The colours of the rainbow have bee

used which have happy and pleasant connotations. This

suggests to the viewer that they will feel emotions similar to this when they drink Coke, supporting the

product. Also the traditional red and white Coke brand colours have been

used in the bottle which supports the brand further and has an

immediate visual impact on the viewer.
