Silvia and Marco’s home “Casarotta” is located in the countryside surrounding San Casciano in Val di Pesa, and enjoys a wonderful position, at a short distance from Florence, Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano, overlooking one of the most beautiful and admired areas in the world.
This lovely house is made up of the main apartment plus an independent little one, and enjoys a large garden, fragrant of lavender and gorse.
The main apartment has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, and a studio. The small independent apartment has a living room with kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom.
The property has its own water well, a photovoltaic system, gas and wood heating, autoclaves, tanks for rainwater, and an outdoor relax area with a Jacuzzi tub, an irrigation system for the lawn, land with olive trees, a greenhouse, and a wooden house for tools. The land is fenced in, and has an automatic gate.
