June 2007, NMHED, NMPED, CSN, NMSL and other partners organized the College Outreach Roundtable; it was attended by more than 100 policymakers, educators, business, nonprofit and Tribal representatives.

July 2007, NMHED, NMPED, NMSL and College Success Network form the Middle School Outreach Campaign Initiative (MSOC).

August 2008, NMHED, supported by the MSOC, applies for and is awarded the College Access Challenge Grant.
