Creating a Public/Private Collaboration

When creating collaborations it is important to clearlydetermine, what are those factors that may interferewith the learning goals of the students. Such as casemanagement, family and work counseling, childcare,transportation, healthcare, placement, and find thoseorganizations with a good record of effectively delivering those services to the community.

Purpose of “Carreras en Salud”

“Carreras En Salud” will provide local healthcare providers with bilingual healthcare professionals who can improve these organizations’ competence and cultural sensitivity when serving the large and rising numbers of Latinos in the Chicago Metropolitan area
