Transcript of Carl's Journey

Once upon a time in a small town Bimling, there was a grown man

named Carl who was 21 years old. Carl is very strong and has the

endurance to run a full marathon.

Carl was no ordinary man though, he was born with the power to be

very adventurous. Carl always wanted to be out hiking or camping at all

times.

Carl always dreamed of visiting California because he had to do a

science project on the San Andreas Fault and write a children’s book to

inform them about how cool they can be. A fault line is actually a crack

in the earth where a earthquake caused it.

Carl eventually bought a plane ticket for a flight to California to visit

there very interesting fault line that caught Carl’s attention when he

researched about it.

When Carl arrived at the airport he noticed his plane was suppose

to take off at 12:00 and it was 11:56. So Carl sprinted down the airport

hallway to his waiting area. Carl was just on time.

Carl arrived just as they were starting to board the plane. He

handed the plane ticket to the lady and stepped onto the plane. In

just a few hours Carl arrives in California.

Carl calls a taxi to take him to the San Andreas Fault line so the taxi

driver took him right to where he wanted to be to take notes on the

large crack in the earth. Carl plans on taking notes to hopefully find new

discoveries.

While Carl was examining the fault he accidently slipped into the

crack. Carl fell several feet to the bottom and landed into 45 feet of

water and was absolutely fine.

Carl had one bad problem and that was he had no way of getting

out of the crack because the sides were to steep to climb. Carl started

his journey down the fault and he reached a cave that he thought would

keep him safe.

Carl travelled into the cave and started the long walk to safety but

the one problem is all he has was a blanket, flashlight, lighter, some

gasoline, and two bottles of water.

While Carl was travelling down the cave he got attacked by

aggressive spider monkeys. Carl tried to fight them off and he did. He

ran away as fast as he could and survived the attack.

Carl only had a couple minor injuries but they didn’t phase him.

Carl eventually got very hungry and while looking around the cave to

find a way out he found a 24 pack of king sized kit kats.

Carl ate about 3 and a half of those kit kats and that was alright to

feed his appetite. He later on got very tired. He began to start a

campfire with the extra wood hanging around to keep him warm for the

night.

He tucked himself in with the blanket and fell asleep by the cozy fire.

While resting peacefully he had a dream about another spider monkey

attack.

He woke up and realized he wasn’t in a dream and the spider monkeys

were surrounding him. Not only did they come back but they came back

three times bigger and stronger.

He didn’t know what to do he thought this would be the end. Carl

started to throw the closest thing to him at the spider monkeys hoping

they would be scared.

The closest thing to him was the kits kats and instead of being scared

the spider monkeys actually enjoyed them. The more he threw, the

more the spider monkeys became friendlier.

Eventually Carl and the spider monkeys became best pals and they

helped Carl escape from the deep fault.
