ABOUT CARLOS ANDRADECarlos Andrade started his career in 2000 at AXA IM in Finance before joining Internal Audit. He joined SV Alterinvest as Head of Compliance in 2006 before co-founding Delta AM in 2008 that he leads with his partner Thibaut SCIARD. Carlos leads the analysts team and is personally involved with Thibaut in all restructuring cases, new money negotiations and private deals structuring.

Carlos is High graduated in Accounting and Financial Studies (DESCF, 1999).

FIRM PROFILEDelta AM is an entrepreneurial asset management company created in 2008 and based in Paris. Delta AM’s original positioning and expertise cover European special situations and distressed mainly through debt securities.

Led by two founders, Thibaut Sciard and Carlos Andrade, the company deploys its expertise through internal fund management, mandates for other debt or diversified funds and direct restructuring advising to corporate or investors.

Delta AM’s clients are mainly institutional investors and peers missing expertise in distressed situations. Recently Delta AM has advised SME in their loan/bond structuration. AREAS OF EXPERTISE Delta AM is currently managing one fund called Delta Prime ESSF which stands for European Special Situation Fund. The fund invests in European companies’ debts which are subject to stressors, most of them cyclical, and suffer from a lack of temporary visibility. This generally leads to an exaggerated discount given the intrinsic potential of the company.

Our management is based on a fundamental analysis of the issuers, in particular through qualitative filters, in order to identify the opportunities that will be analyzed in detail by our analysts’ team and this according to a rigorous investment process and a bottom up approach. The management applied to Delta Prime ESSF fund is discretionary. It aims to take advantage of market inefficiencies along with a value approach.

2019 will also see Delta AM launching a specific vehicle dedicated to SME direct lending with the support of great French and European institutions.
