Carl Benz, who graduated as Mechanical Engineer from University of Karlsruhe at the age of nineteen in 1864, is regarded the first inventor of automotive (car).
He was an acknowledged expert of two-stroke engines. His first demonstration model was a 3-wheeled horseless carriage.
