WHY THEY BECOME ORPHANSometimes parents get sick and die while their child or children are still young, and if no close relatives take care of them, if they cannot or will not do so, they are normally raised in an orphanage. When several children, brothers or sisters are left orphaned they are normally split up; one child going to one family or one child going to a foster family while another may stay in the orphanage.
Sometimes parents may not have jobs or money and abandon their children because they cannot afford to bring them up. The parents may feel that if someone else brings them up they may have a better future in the long run.

ANIMALS Protected Animals Homeless Animals Left out Animals
PROTECTED ANIMALS Protected animals are population of
organisms which is at risk of becoming extinct because it is either few in numbers, or threatened by changing environmental or predation parameters.
EXAMPLE FOR PROTECTED ANIMAL The Siberian Tiger is
a subspecies of tiger that is critically endangered; three subspecies of tiger are already extinct.
The most endangered asiatic top predator, the dhole is on the edge of extinction.
REASON Unregulated, or unrestricted commercial hunting or
fishing has driven species to extinction.
Poaching (trapping, hunting, and capturing) any protected species for the purposes of profit.
The Black Market, and "Traditional Chinese Medicine" selling items such as; animal body parts, organs, pelts, tusks, horns, also trophy purchases, and this drives the values of the endangered species.
Loss of natural habitat through, natural disasters, human encroachment, river management, or coastal growth, land management and land use.
Careless waste disposal, and dumping, species suffer long term exposure, become entangled in the trash, eat it mistaking it for food, and die.
Pollutants are spilled, leaked or dumped, into environments, and exposure to the toxins and other deadly chemicals, can kill species, with long term effects in the food chain, and even destroy whole ecosystem and habitats.
Nonnative or exotic species, can destroy a balanced ecosystem of native species.
Mutated diseases, and viruses become resistant to common treatment, inter-species transference, including native, nonnative species, and human exposure.
EFFECT Effects the entire food chain. Species of animals will decrease. More species become extinct.
LEFTOUT ANIMALSReason Health , old age or behavioural problems
can mean pets become time-consuming and expensive to look after and many are abonded.
Impulse buying or being given as an unwanted gift.
Lost interest in animals. No time take care.
EFFECT These animals release into an
ecosystem to which they are not native will either suffer and die.
They will displacing native wildlife, destroying habitat and introducing disease and parasites to native population.
HOMELESS ANIMALS Reason The animals like dogs or cats over-
population. Nobody help them by having spayed or
neutered. Some of them become the victim of
over-population.
EFFECT During the warm months,homeless
animals may suffer from dehydration. In cold months, they may suffer from
hypothermia. In all weather they are likely to starve
and at the mercy of predators.
