Continued…Poem shared in expression of Caritas #8 – Co-Create…a Healing Environment for the Physical and Spiritual Self
which Respects Human Dignity:It is me that is love
I cannot change the world around me
But I don’t need to
It is me that is kindness
In the dark hours of despair and grief
My presence is love
It is me that is blessed
The product of all that I am, that I feel, that I know
Making myself an instrument of love in the world
Waiting for the moment to give myself to you, humbly, fully
I yearn to help make you whole
For that is my purpose, my reward, my work
I honor you, and all that you are
The universe has brought us together so that I can help you heal and in doing so, am healed .
